I don't recall that it was his decision. I think there was a lengthy decision making process involving the entire organization, much debate, prayerful consideration of a great many factors, not taken easily or without soul searching.

I was in San Diego when the controversy erupted over the Boy Scouts refusal to accept a gay man as a Scout leader. It got to the point where it was better to have been in the Ku Klux Klan than to have ever been a Boy Scout.

One of the most boneheaded errors of my life was dropping out of Scouting a few merit badges short of Eagle to play junior high football. I have lamented it for decades.

It was terrible to treat an organization that has been such a positive in so many lives like they were treated in San Diego.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

That is simply the radical liberal agenda. Find a person, group, organization that you deem intolerant and destroy it. It doesn't matter who they are, or what they do. As long as they don't fit the utopian view they must be destroyed.

Anyone ever notice how they aggressively go after groups like this, but leave the REAL hate groups alone.

Yep. Around here there has been a well organized and supported fund raising mechanism for the Boy Scouts for decades. It happened quietly and reliably with great results. The next fund raising cycle after that decision the Boy Scout execs had to take to the airwaves and plead for funds which never came....and still do not. That decision was driven by political correctness and pressure from dark sources. In time I believe it will sink the Boy Scouts as an organization. It will sink faster as further decisions are made based on PC.

I am an Eagle Scout. All four of my sons were scout with varying degrees of success. If scouting is around for my grandsons, it won't be what it was nor could have been. The victims are the boys who use that program to refine themselves.

Looking forward to it being over. In my mind, HRC's posse decamps to their new headquarters (the underside of an overpass), huddles around the meager warmth of a flaming 14" radial tire and passing around a fifth of Faithless Elector as they console themselves it was only a vast right-wing conspiracy that deposed the Queen.

The cultural changes have affected the freedom of association in a great many ways. There are no men only groups. Sports, social, fraternal, civic, interest groups, all must accept women, gays, undecideds, flexibles, etc.

I think people ought to have the freedom to form groups on any basis they wish. Why should a Muslim be a priest? Why should an Aggie be in the Texas Exes? Why should the KKK be forced to take blacks, Jews, Catholics? Why should Repblicans be forced to take Communists? This is stupid.

Former President Bill Clinton is blaming his wife's loss on FBI Director James Comey.

"James Comey cost her the election," Clinton said

Bill Clinton in the new editorial also criticized Donald Trump when asked whether he thought the president-elect was smart.

"He doesn't know much," Bill Clinton said.

"One thing he does know is how to get angry, white men to vote for him."

I've got two words for Bill - and his wife - and they start with F and Y, respectively.

Comey should be investigated and charged so he knows how its done. Clintons, like wise. Lock them up. I give bets that both clintons suffer bad health issues inside of President Trumps 1st term, based on their current age and health condition, at which I would be pleased.

Here is the election of 2016 in a few words:

Hillary: "Elect me because I am Hillary Clinton."

The country: "Meh."

The Obamas are heading off to Hawaii for their last official vacation. Does anybody else think it's odd that Obama needs another vacation just a few weeks before he retires? As if he can't go on even a few more weeks without some rest? Or, rather, is it the last chance for these moochers to bury their snouts in the public trough?

I am just fucking loving this. All the liberal butthurt assholes on Facebook attempting to troll on Breitbart's page. It's just too easy to piss em off and troll em back harder.

Yeah, I'm not being gracious I'm gloating like a mofo. This is excellent.
