I was gonna say....while I haven't the income (or time) to check out Russia for a partner, it was my understanding they were anything BUT submissive. LOL

My response was yeah, it means he's stupid. But, no, some people were convinced that Obama was so smart, he was operating 20 moves ahead of everyone else, and only after some time would we mere mortals see the purpose and his plan.
Well, here we are, years later, and guess what? The evidence is abundant that this guy is just what I and others have been saying about him all along- he's a freakin' idiot, propped up by people who saw him as a figure head they could get into office. Propped up and stupid. That's what we said he was, and that's exactly what he's turned out to be.

Look at him. He's about to leave office, with his only "accomplishment" about to be dismantled. He didn't do anything to help his gun control, cause- quite the opposite. Barack Obama is personally reaponsible for the sale of tens of millions of firearms and billions of rounds of ammunition. Gun control? He's done the exact opposite of what he intended, and that makes him stupid.
He's further divided the country and he has essentially killed the Democratic party. Just look at all the Dems have lost at the federal, state and local levels. The Dems have been decimated, and in 2018, they'll be done for years, if not for good.

And people thought this jackass was a genius? Barack Obama is nothing more than exactly what he appears to be.

But the appearance was all that he had. The arrogance meant that they (the fawners) just knew he was the smartest guy in the room. Yet that is all he had was arrogance and disdain for alternate views.

Remember when he burst on the scene at the 2004 DNC? The racist, self loathing liberals (because they themselves were white, but identified as people of color) said he was "so well spoken."

They created him and propped him up, as Para said...and the Republic has suffered for it. So ready for this (current) bigot to be gone and for the country to go on about the business of "we, the people".

California professor in hiding after anti-Trump rant

A California college professor who told her students that Donald Trump's election was an "act of terrorism" has gone into hiding after her comments prompted a firestorm and death threats.

Olga Perez Stable Cox, who teaches human sexuality at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, fled the state after a video of her rant -- secretly recorded by one of her students -- was posted on Facebook, prompting outrage and threats on her life.

I guess that day's lesson in Human Sexuality was how to royally fuck yourself.

I remember very well. Charles Krauthammer, Peggy Noonan, David Brooks, George Will-- a whole bunch of "conservatives" were part of that chorus.

The most devastating blow to Obama's 8 years will be the 8 years of Trump. The country will see what it means to have someone who can succeed, who can win, who has a can do attitude instead of the endless whining and excuse making of Obama and all the Democrats.

All Trump's enemies know that. That is why they can't help themselves in all these daily desperate, feeble attempts to destroy him.

The children are being shooed out of the room, leaving their mess behind. Adults are taking over.

Incoming White House chief of staff Reince Priebus on Wednesday floated a shakeup of how the West Wing will handle the White House press corps under Donald Trump.

Priebus raised the possibility of changing the format of the daily press briefing and rearranging the seating chart inside the James Brady Press Briefing Room.

“The traditions, while some of them are great, I think it’s time to revisit a lot of these things that have been done in the White House,” Priebus said during an interview with conservative talk radio host Hugh Hewitt.

“And I can assure you that change is going to happen,” he added.

Those moves could heighten tensions with members of the news media, who have sparred with Trump and his team over press access since the early days of the 2016 campaign.

Priebus’ comments come amid speculation that Trump is close to choosing his White House press secretary, who would be the administration’s public face and could have a say in any changes.

The new spokesperson would almost certainly deal with significant blowback from media outlets over the changes, if they are made.

Priebus’ suggestions would mark a notable shift in White House-media relations.

Currently, the seating chart is determined by the White House Correspondents’ Association, and not West Wing staff.

The changes could possibly affect media organizations that Trump sparred with during the campaign.

Outlets such as The Washington Post, BuzzFeed, Politico and The Huffington Post were denied credentials at certain points during the campaign. All have a briefing room seat or share one with another news organization.

Priebus framed the potential change as a return to the traditions of the George W. Bush administration.

“You know, this was the first front row assigned seat issue, as I understand it, started in the Obama administration,” he told Hewitt. “In the Bush administration, you just took a seat, and I guess there were a couple of people that have had reserved spots.”

White House press secretary Josh Earnest disputed Priebus’ description, saying the lack of staff control over the seating chart “certainly predates President Obama’s presence in the Oval Office.”

He recommended Trump's team "collect and familiarize yourself with some basic facts" before proposing changes.

White House Correspondents’ Association President Jeff Mason said briefing room seats have been assigned since they were installed more than three decades ago.

I've always despised Obama's little bitch Josh Earnest. I've grown to hate his voice every bit as much as Obama's.

The only fact you need to be familiar with Josh my boy is change is coming to a lot more than the seating arrangements in the White House press room.

You best step aside boy 'cause you're about to get run over by a train!

I would love to see some type of lottery draw.

A person goes through a process to get a set of White House press credentials (background check and so forth) that is not partisan but essential to making sure they are qualified to be there. Theoretically any news reporter from anywhere could go through the process if they wished. Renews each year.

You show up at the White House with your credentials at a certain time each morning and pull a ticket and put the stub in a box.

Say there are 50 seats. The guard shakes up the box and pulls 50 numbers. Those are the 50 who get a pass to get in that day, the rest pound sand.

Trump to create 'family office' in White House East Wing, source says.

President-elect Donald Trump is making plans to create a "family office" in the East Wing of the White House, space traditionally reserved for the first lady, a transition source told Fox News' John Roberts.

The move is likely to heighten speculation that Trump will find a role in his administration for his daughter, Ivanka. The president-elect announced late Monday that his two eldest sons, Don Jr. and Eric, will oversee his businesses during Trump's term of office.

However, a second source tells Fox News that "no decisions regarding Ivanka's involvement [in the administration] have been made."

In fact, Vanity Fair‘s Peter Savodnik concludes in “Why Angry White America Fell for Putin,” voting for Trump was a way for American men to express racial pride, and a preference for “submissive” women from the former Communist countries.

From the Vanity Fair article:
quote:
While Europe has embraced socialists and Muslims, among other groups, Russia appears a final redoubt of white pride. At least, this is how Russia has portrayed itself to, and is viewed by, many on the new American right—the angry horde, the white-nationalist base who wants their country back. There were glimmers of this in the ‘90s and the aughts, when angry, white men flew to Moscow, and then St. Petersburg and Kiev, and then Tomsk and Omsk and Vladivostok, in search of beautiful, Russian women to replace their feminist wives in America. (I wrote a story about these men, “From Russia with Pre-Nup,” for GQ.) What they loved about Russian women, I learned, was not just that they were gorgeous, but rather that they were submissive. They had their values straight. When these men talked about American women, they always sounded bitter. American women didn’t know how to please a man; they didn’t wear makeup; they didn’t cook; they let themselves go. These men came from Arkansas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and the Central Valley of California, and they had fallen in love with Russia because it was full of pretty white girls who acted the way they thought girls should act.

the press corps can assign the seats the way they want

that doesn't mean that any of them get credentials to get onto the WH grounds

poor press is about to find out that they've been gnawing on the hand that was going to feed them and I do hope that a lot of them are left out in the cold wondering what the hell just happened

Someone explain something to me.. What are "Press Credentials" ?

What makes, say, NBC news as an example, any different from some random Blog? Why would NBC get press credentials for visiting a government property (or briefing) while the blogger does not??

Aren't they both reporting stuff and trying to make money off of it?
