More corporate optimism because of President elect Donald Trumps policies.

more from NBC:

Donald Trump is expected to nominate ExxonMobil CEO Rex Tillerson as his secretary of state, two sources close to the transition process told NBC News on Saturday.

Tillerson will be paired with former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton as his deputy secretary of state, one of the sources added, with Bolton handling day-to-day management of the department.

The sources cautioned that nothing is final until the president-elect officially announces it

I think DT has bigger things for his friend Rudy so I'm not disappointed he isn't SecState

he is going to need someone on the outside to tackle 'special' projects and Rudy is the perfect person to take on some of these issues

so he's not done yet

Awesome dynamic duo. Rush had a lot of great things to say about Tillerson on Friday's show. And I don't mean his name being apropos to an Oil CEO or his "Hollywood" good looks either which Rush teased about Smile

Bolton as the number two won't need Senate approval, right? I love it.

No, he will require confirmation. All the Deputies, Assistant Secretaries, Deputy Assistant Secretaries, Ambassadors, etc. are advice and consent officers. A lot more, actually.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

I heard that Bolton would not accept the number two spot. Hopefully that was not an accurate statement.

I'd rather it be the other way around. I think that you need someone skilled in diplomacy at the top and a great businessman running the office. Unfortunately, he'd never get through confirmation.

To even talk to Romney, I think, was a mistake. He would have made a decent President, but he is not suited for any other federal political office.

Rudy, as well, would have been a poor choice although I can't really articulate why well. There's just something about him that I don't like and don't trust. And, as above, his experience is as a prosecutor and a Mayor. He has no diplomatic experience that I know of.

And, as much of a wuss as he seems to be, Huntsman wouldn't be a bad choice either. He's also got a smoking hot daughter, so there's that....

A hundred of us here have said it probably a thousand times now...(ok a bit of exaggeration).

Watching Zippy literally get steamrolled and shoved aside is giving me great satisfaction. It seems every day now he is being held up as a failure...and he has nothing to counter.

Its quite satisfying.

I've met and talked with Tillerson. He is as smooth as a baby's butt, very impressive. He'll do just fine.

Donald Trump raucously cheered at Army-Navy game

short video at link

President-elect Donald Trump was greeted with cheers and jumping cadets at the annual Army-Navy football game in Baltimore.

The incoming president waved to the crowd from outside a private box as he arrived at the stadium during the first quarter of the storied rivalry.

Trump was inside the box of a West Point graduate and planned to spend the second half in the box of retired Marine Lt. Col. Oliver North.

He was joined by former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, incoming White House chief of staff Reince Priebus and top adviser Steve Bannon.

Neither Romney nor Rudy would have been good choices for SecState. Thank goodness those two weren't selected, and I like Rudy - but that role made no sense at all, and Romney doesn't deserve that degree of a promotion after his recent asshattery.
