I am 100% in agreement. I'm surrounded by dejected Clinton voters and a lot of Trump voters who were simply voting against Hillary. The predominant mood is trepidation and aprehension plus a lot of calls for "unity and healing". Screw that noise! I will NOT apologize for my beliefs. I will NOT apologize for winning. The children have been driving the bus big enough and it's time for them to get out of the way. Either check out of here of grab a seat in the back but remember your place. I want nothing to do with "crossing the aisle" or "working together". No sir. That ship has sailed. I want a fight. It's time to get to serious work. Congress must be corralled. They must be reminded to not get complacent. Their feet must be held to the fire. This is no time to placate. This is no time apologize. This is no time to equivocate. This is the time to roll up the sleeves and get things done.

12131, A few pages back you posted that the analysis of the vote distribution was a meaningless exercise. Although meaningless to you, it is quite meaningful to me. I attempt to analyze the big elections and understand what drove the decision to one conclusion or the other. The impact of how different parts of the voting population trended is important. When you dig down into the details sometimes it becomes much clearer why an election that doesn't appear to "make sense" really is understandable (and even predictable). For years I made a very incorrect assumption that types of voters were more evenly distributed because of the large numbers involved (tens of millions). So I have no issue w someone who is uninterested in rehashing the past, but this type of analysis is being done intently by both political parties so they can tailor their message and resources to win elections. It is also intimately related to the popular vote versus the electoral college. I did not think that an overall 10% advantage in votes would not typically drive to an electoral college win. A practical value was demonstrated by the Trump team which made excellent decisions on where to campaign in the final days with their limited time and money. Those decisions may have won it for them. Anyhow, I thought I would take a shot at explaining my interest.

That's an awesome subreddit. I've been getting a daily dose of MAGA there for the last four months. Anyone who has questions about the Pepe, Harambe and Kel memes, that's the place to go for answers. Thank you President Trump.

They are reporting DOnald would have won 2012 with 5M less votes based on Electoral college. Very simply he appealed to people who had the promise of hope and change particular white voters who voted for Obama in both years. So any cries you hear of racism/sexism or whitelash is total BS. Dem men voted 38% for hillary, VERY low, and Donald swung a 20% increase in votes in PA, WI, MI, and 9% in IA which obama won. SO clearly no racism or sexism, just a lack of delivery amongst democrats. If its any question, notice the republicans control EVERYTHING. all because of policy What man is a man that does not make the world better. -Balian of Ibelin Only boring people get bored. - Ruth Burke

Hard to believe that all these demonstrations are not being organized and funded (by Soros groups ?) Why does the right to demonstrate give these people the right to block city streets? adding: saw this http://www.breitbart.com/live/...rotests-white-house/ Tonight, thousands of Americans will come together at hundreds of peaceful gatherings in cities and towns across the nation, including outside the White House, following the results of Tuesday’s presidential election. The gatherings – organized by MoveOn.org and allies – will affirm a continued rejection of Donald Trump’s bigotry, xenophobia, Islamophobia, and misogyny and demonstrate our resolve to fight together for the America we still believe is possible. Within two hours of the call-to-action, MoveOn members had created more than 200 gatherings nationwide, with the number continuing to grow on Wednesday afternoon. WHAT: Hundreds of peaceful gatherings of solidarity, resistance, and resolve nationwide WHEN / WHERE: Find local gatherings here. Major gatherings include in New York City’s Columbus Circle and outside the White House in Washington, DC. RSVP: Please email press@moveon.org to confirm attendance. “This is a disaster. We fought our hearts out to avert this reality. But now it’s here,” MoveOn.org staff wrote to members on Wednesday. “The new president-elect and many of his most prominent supporters have targeted, demeaned, and threatened millions of us—and millions of our friends, family, and loved ones. Both chambers of Congress remain in Republican hands. We are entering an era of profound and unprecedented challenge, a time of danger for our communities and our country. In this moment, we have to take care of ourselves, our families, and our friends—especially those of us who are on the front lines facing hate, including Latinos, women, immigrants, refugees, Black people, Muslims, LGBT Americans, and so many others. And we need to make it clear that we will continue to stand together.”

Why u guys worried about the protesters? It's laughable. They are peaceful, afraid they will have jobs by inauguration day. They are just sad Hillary wasn't issued a trophy for 2nd place, their not used to these real world results. Give them a day or 2 to soak it in.
