I posted here for about a decade, but I haven't posted in a few years because of serious illness, which continues. But I have to post in these critical days to tell you how it strengthens me to read the posts here, especially on this thread. I would add to Parabellum's quotation from Milton, a very ancient Sanskrit proverb. "Satya mai vijaiate."

Truth alone triumphs.

Welcome back justjoe.

Here is Scott Adams offering his services to Trump.

I’d be happy to see Scott Adams fill that cabinet slot, but sdy would be a strong contender.

Clearly the judge is partisan. The prosecution is likewise politically motivated.

The judge's declaration that Trump fraudulently inflated the value of his real estate is deeply flawed. The judge's own assessment is so out of whack that it proves he doesn't hav3 5he capacity to pass such judgement.

The NY law says a person must pist bond for the entire judgement before being allowed to appeal. I think this will be found unConstitutional. The big question is will the NY DA take possession of Trump's assets before an appeal can be made.

Incredibly, it seems the NY DA might be able to seize out of state assets like Mar A Lago.

Barron Trump 'Fair Game' Comment Enrages Republicans

https://www.newsweek.com/barro...-republicans-1881343

Republicans voiced their outrage after former NBC senior executive Mike Sington said that former President Donald Trump's youngest son, Barron, was now "fair game" on his 18th birthday.

Barron, the former president's and former first lady Melania Trump's only child together, turned 18 on Wednesday. Barron has stayed out of the spotlight for the most part as his father campaigns for president. While Trump and his adult children from his previous marriages have been under fire in the press and online on several occasions, Barron has avoided such criticism.

In a since-deleted post on X, formerly Twitter, Sington on Wednesday posted a photo of Trump and Barron, writing: "Barron Trump turns 18 today. He's fair game now."

He was probably counting on it. That way he doesn't have to make the call and his hands are "clean". He is up for re-election.

that's what i figured, too, washing his hands of it. If it is reversed he can say he tried, if affirmed 'he was right all along'

Many years ago a local news agency interviewed Kid Rock (he lives here). Among many questions they asked if he'd ever run for political office as many entertainers have, perhaps even President.

Kid Rock laughed and said "Never for President... " then he got quite for a moment and said "... maybe Minister of Common Sense, we definitely need that..."

I'd say that would be Trumps first cabinet appointment, a Common Sense Czar.

https://www.breitbart.com/poli...truth-social-merger/

Former President Donald Trump stands to get a windfall of $3.5 billion now that shareholders of Digital World Acquisition Corp. have approved a merger with his Truth Social on Friday.

The potential multibillion dollar infusion comes as New York Attorney General Letitia James is moving to seize Trump’s assets to pay a $464 million bond in his New York civil fraud case.

The long-delayed merger came after the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved it last month, and means that Trump’s company Trump Media & Technology Group will trade on the stock market under the stock ticker “DJT” as early as next week.

Trump will own nearly 79 million shares in the newly-merged company, which is currently around $41 per share.

The former president will not be able to cash in his stake until six months after the merger, but Talking Point USA’s Founder and CEO Charlie Kirk posted on X that Trump could seek a waiver to do so in order to pay the bond so he can appeal the fraud case.

not surprising they did this

Truth Social CEO is Devin Nunes. Remember him ?

The establishment media have air-balled yet another big story with regard to former President Donald Trump as the merger between a SPAC and the company behind Trump’s Truth Social social media platform was approved Friday despite nonstop predictions the past couple years this would not happen.

On Friday morning, shareholders of Digital World Acquisition Corporation (DWAC)—which is a SPAC, or special purpose acquisition company—approved a long-delayed merger with Trump Media & Technology Group—unlocking significant resources for the expansion of Truth Social and also perhaps providing Trump himself with a major payday worth several billion dollars.

According to The Hill newspaper, Trump stands to make about $3.5 billion from the 79 million shares he holds—though he is under agreements and provisions that prevent him from immediately accessing the cash.

Nonetheless, the massive windfall for Trump at a time when New York’s Attorney General Letitia James comes after him for hundreds of millions of dollars is welcome news for the former president while the clock is ticking for him to find a solution to post a $454 million bond so he can appeal a ruling in a lower court against him.

But the DWAC merger approval in and of itself is yet another in a long list of storylines that have turned out to be fake from the establishment media. Repeatedly, across several media outlets, predictions of a doomsday for Truth Social have played out for years.

Trump has also been in meetings with Elon Musk at Mar-A-Lago in the last couple of weeks.
