I wonder if Democrats consider killing the opposition in an election tampering, or just aggressive campaigning.

Well, I've pointed out this danger several times, and I find it odd that hardly anyone here has commented about this possibility. No one says anything, and I don't get it. It's very frustrating, because it is a real possibility. Tucker Carlson pointed it out yet again today. I just don't get it- how people are ignoring whats being said by the left, and the genuine danger of all of it.

They're trying to convince someone out there to try to kill the man. HELLO??

We have thought it Para, it’s just difficult to voice it.

Frankly it’s the only play they have left.

And God help us if it happens, it will throw the nation into Civil War.

My hope, is that every single agent on his detail, is there by choice, and is a true American. The USSS Agents with him are our line of defense. I pray they're not owned by the deep state.

I am very worried about the safety of President Trump now and when he is elected again. I fully expect the commie/BLM/Hamas loving left to lose their minds first when he becomes the nominee and go full retard when he is re-elected. I pray every day for his continued safety.

I'm pretty ignorant of term limit law... Is there anyway to overturn the two term limit once Trump is elected?

Yes, a constitutional amendment. Not likely, and not a good idea in any case. The two-term limit was mostly a result of FDR’s third term.

Well I know he's got this guy on his detail...And a few more agents that look just like him! Cool

Look at those 'guns'...Textbook Open Carry (Brandishing?) right there! Knowing DJT, he probably put in a gym at Mar-a-Lago just for these guys! Wink

When I met Trump back in October he had three guys (this guy and two others) dressed in VERY form fitting soft shell jackets, and my first thought was, where the hell are they carrying their weapons? Based on their attire, there was NOWHERE to conceal ANY firearm! I has concluded they must be unarmed, but then I was like wait, actually they are armed...VERY Well Armed! Razz

Term limits for the President is the idea that needs to apply to ALL politicians.

However my concern is that when DJT is re-elected and starts to drain the swamp we had better have a really good candidate ready to step in and take his place to finish the job. Otherwise it will have been for naught if it goes back to a libtard traitor.

Where do we want to be in 5 years, 10 years. Need to plan now and we need to have a much longer time horizon than the opposition.

Kevin McCarthy endorses Trump for president and would consider serving in his Cabinet

BY LISA MASCARO
Updated 5:02 PM CST, December 8, 2023

WASHINGTON (AP) — Retiring Republican Rep. Kevin McCarthy, the ousted former House speaker, said he is endorsing Donald Trump for president and would consider serving in his Cabinet if the GOP front-runner were to win back the White House.

McCarthy had a rocky relationship with the former president, notably when he declined to publicly support Trump’s bid for a second term, despite being one of his earliest and most loyal allies. But they always seem to patch things up, and as McCarthy prepares to leave Congress he gave his nod.

“I will support the president. I will support President Trump,” McCarthy said in excerpts of an interview to air this weekend on “CBS News Sunday Morning.”

McCarthy has not disclosed his post-Congress plans, but asked if he would willing to serve in a Trump cabinet, he said, “In the right position, look, if, if I’m the best person for the job, yes.”

“Look, I worked with President Trump on a lot of policies. I, we, worked together to win the majority,” he told CBS’ Robert Costa in the interview, his first to air on TV since announcing he will leave Congress. “But we also have a relationship where we’re very honest with one another.”

GOP lawmakers, even those who have opposed Trump strongly at times, are swiftly falling in line behind the party’s presumed nominee, as they brush past and ignore some of his more alarming authoritarian rhetoric.

McCarthy, as he led the House’s slim GOP majority, had withheld his support for Trump as tried to keep a more neutral air and fundraise from wealthy donors, some of whom have soured on the former president.

Also mindful that a number of rank-and-file lawmakers come from congressional districts that President Joe Biden won, McCarthy held back his endorsement so as not to put them in a political bind.

But McCarthy, who depended on Trump’s backing to become speaker after a grueling 15-vote spectacle in January, has often made his way back to Trump.

In the aftermath of the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol by Trump supporters, McCarthy at first called it one of the saddest days he had experienced in Congress, putting the blame on the former president — only to dash to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club in Florida weeks later to mend the relationship.

McCarthy was ousted as House speaker in October by his hard-right detractors, including some of Trump’s most loyal allies among the House GOP.

Looks like Pierre Delecto has figured out all on his own why Trump skipped the debates:

quote:
“I’m not gonna be endorsing President Trump, obviously. I’ve made that very clear. Look, Chris Christie has done a terrific job so far. I think his being in the race has kept Donald Trump from coming to the debates, because I think Donald Trump recognized if he went to the debate with Chris Christie, Chris Christie would reveal him for what he was. And Trump would be badly hurt. So he stayed out.”

Hunter Biden Indictment Part of 'Deep State' Plan to Hurt Trump, Says Vivek Ramaswamy

Republican presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy said the latest Hunter Biden indictment may be part of a 'deep state' ploy that serves several aims.

The latest indictment that brought nine new tax charges against Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden, could be part of a "deep state" ploy that serves several aims, including hurting former President Donald Trump's chances in the 2024 election, according to Republican presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy.

A California grand jury on Thursday returned a nine-count indictment against Hunter Biden, charging him with three felony tax offenses and six misdemeanor tax offenses.

The indictment alleges that the president's son spent millions on a lavish lifestyle and drugs instead of fulfilling roughly $1.4 million in tax obligations.

Hunter Biden's attorney, Abbe Lowell, called the latest charges politically driven, while Hunter Biden said that his legal troubles are being exploited by his father's political opponents to damage his presidency.

Mr. Ramaswamy, who is one of the candidates vying for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, has a different take. He believes that the latest indictment serves Democrats in two ways—providing a convenient excuse to replace President Biden as their nominee in 2024 and giving cover for the various prosecutions of President Trump.
