South Carolina Representative Tom Rice voted to impeach Donald Trump. Today Rice lost the REP primary race for his seat. https://townhall.com/tipsheet/...ry-tom-rice-n2608657 adding: Trump’s endorsement record now stands at 129-8 in Republican primaries this midterm election cycle. https://www.breitbart.com/poli...8-big-wins-sc-nv-nd/ Candidates backed by former President Donald J. Trump had a near-perfect night in the South Carolina, Nevada, and North Dakota primaries Tuesday evening as 12 candidates secured their nominations, while only one lost her race The Trump-backed former state Rep. Katie Arrington lost her race to incumbent Rep. Nancy Mace in the First Congressional District. Mace, who earned former Gov. and United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley’s (R) endorsement in the race, has been critical of Trump Nevada: Former Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt became the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate Tuesday after beating out Army Veteran Sam Brown. Laxalt will take on Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D) in the fall general election Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo took home the Republican nomination for governor. Lombardo will vie to unseat sitting Gov. Steve Sisolak (D) in the general election later this year. Coming into the evening, Trump was 117-7 in his Republican primary endorsements following sweeping wins by all 17 Trump-backed candidates in California, Iowa, Mississippi, Montana, New Jersey, and South Dakota last week. The strong resurgence on June 7 was preceded by perfect picks in Alabama, Texas, and Arkansas in the May 24 elections. However, Trump-endorsed candidates hit a snag in Georgia, where four who earned his nod came up short of winning their nominations. The previous week, 23 Trump-endorsed candidates were victorious in their races in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and Idaho, while only two lost. On May 10, three candidates who earned the 45th president’s nod won races in West Virginia and Nebraska, which came on the heels of declarative wins in Ohio and Indiana, where all 22 Trump-backed candidates brought home their respective nominations. In Texas, 33 Trump Republicans either won their March 1 races or forced runoffs, while no one lost. This message has been edited. Last edited by: sdy,

Refers to an old saying that involves "...the horse he rode in on". Though I hate to disparage the horse. Cheers, mate!! "If you’re a leader, you lead the way. YouTube Removes Jan. 6 Panel Video Of Trump Claiming Election Fraud https://www.zerohedge.com/poli...iming-election-fraud YouTube on Friday deleted a video uploaded by the Democrat-led Jan. 6 House panel that included a clip of former President Donald Trump saying the 2020 general elections were “stolen.” “Our election integrity policy prohibits content advancing false claims that widespread fraud, errors, or glitches changed the outcome of the 2020 U.S. presidential election, if it does not provide sufficient context,” YouTube spokeswoman Ivy Choi said. “We enforce our policies equally for everyone, and have removed the video uploaded by the Jan. 6 committee channel.” The video in question was used as evidence by the Jan. 6 committee and features Trump giving an interview with Fox Business during which he makes his claim. “We had glitches where they moved thousands of votes from my account to Biden’s account,” Trump said in the now-deleted video, NY Times reported. The video, which was uploaded on Tuesday, also reportedly included a clip of former Attorney General William Barr’s testimony, who has previously stated that he does not believe the election was stolen, NY Times reported. Regardless, YouTube, owned by Google, removed the video under its misinformation policy. The New York Post reported that the video was missing from the House panel’s site on Friday. YouTube and other Big Tech platforms have stringently enacted censorship policies regarding Trump’s claims of election fraud in the 2020 general elections. On Jan. 6, 2021, Trump’s supporters gathered at the U.S. Capitol to protest the certification of the election results. Violence broke out when some protesters entered the Capitol building. Some Democrat lawmakers and corporate news outlets have continued to push a narrative that the violence at the Capitol was part of a “deadly insurrection.” But the four people who died on Jan. 6, 2021, were all apparent Trump supporters. One of them, U.S. Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt, was shot by an officer, according to the U.S. Capitol Police Department. Twitter and Facebook deplatformed Trump two days later on Jan. 8, 2021. Trump has decried the House panel as being “highly partisan.” The panel is made up of seven Democrats and two Republicans, both of whom are outspoken critics of Trump who had voted to impeach him and who were picked by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.). “It is a one-sided, highly partisan Witch Hunt, the likes of which has never been seen in Congress before,” Trump wrote. “I am hereby demanding EQUAL TIME to spell out the massive Voter Fraud & Dem Security Breach!” On Monday, Trump published a statement that laid out his argument for disputing the results of the 2020 general elections, which pointed to the vote-counting stopping on election night, other irregularities, and allegations of ballot trafficking in multiple states. To back up his allegations of ballot trafficking, Trump cited evidence presented by the vote-monitoring organization True the Vote in the 2022 documentary “2000 Mules,” which alleges that illegal ballot trafficking took place on a scale significant enough to have flipped the 2020 elections. Trump has criticized the House panel for not allowing him, or other witnesses, to present their testimony and evidence to counter the prevailing narrative of the committee that Trump was directly responsible for the breach. The panel this week also claimed that Trump put former Vice President Mike Pence’s life in mortal danger on Jan. 6, 2021. Republicans have also repeatedly decried the hearings as partisan and unnecessary. _________________________ "Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it." Kurt Schlicter has written two separate columns; a “Pro-Trump in 2024” and a “Con-Trump in 2024”. They are too long to reproduce here, but here are the links to them. You can decide for yourself, as valid points are made in both columns. https://townhall.com/columnist...-trump-2024-n2608957 “Pro-Trump in 2024” https://townhall.com/columnist...-trump-2024-n2609146 “Con-Trump in 2024” There must be a “life after Trump” continuation in the political movement if America is to continue as a democratic Republic. --------------------- DJT-45/47 MAGA !!!!! ^^^^^ I was listening to Mike Gallagher during my errand runs yesterday and the consensus is that President Trump would be doing himself a YUUUUGE favor if he just let the 2020 election go and stop obsessing over it so much in his rallies. He should instead, concentrate on what he's going to do/change to get this country out of the jaws of Communism and the dire state of the economy. I don't understand why so many Repubs are distancing themselves from Trump. Unless they're RINO's. Trump was the best thing to happen to the Republican party since 1980. ^^^^^ I agree. Trump would do well to abandon his obsession with the past and concentrate on the future. The past is over with--there is no reasonable way that the 2020 Election will be overturned and Trump installed as President. He needs to focus on his future plans (and ours). flashguy Texan by choice, not accident of birth

I am a yuuuuge fan of Trump and believe he got screwed by the media. I have talked to some folks who think he is a terrible person. When I asked how that was so, it comes down to his In-Your-Face, sometimes brash style. For some of us that is an attractive, honest trait, but a lot of soccer moms can't stand it. Maybe it's more of that toxic masculinity thing. If he is going to run, he would do well to tone it down in some areas. But he was so right about so many things. There is a lot of buyers remorse over Biden and his circle of idiots. The Dems clearly fear Trump as they are still attacking him and trying to destroy his ability to hold office. Trump still has a lot to offer and I would love to see him in the White House again. Living in Florida I think it might be best all-around for Trump to come out in support of DeSantis and be the king maker, but I don't know if his ego would let him do that. Too many people put their feelings ahead of what is truly important. Despite being attacked from all sides every minute of every day, Trump gave us more positive results - both political and cultural - in his term than any other president in the 20th/21st Centuries except for maybe Teddy Roosevelt. I'd like four more years of Trump, then eight years of Desantis.

IMO, the primary reason for the Trump bashing is that he was so effective. The more he fixed things, the more the uni-party was afraid of him. So they went all out on trying to stop the greatest president in many years. So I would not be too worried about his "negative" image, as much of that is just propaganda. -c1steve

Here is just one non-RINO reason why some Repubs are distancing themselves from Trump. Do you really think he can win the 2024 election by spending half of every appearance telling us why he was robbed in the last election? I don't.
