Of course he denies he was the person responsible.

You're not actually insinuating that politicians are less than truthful are you?

To me, the real issue with the NG in DC is the fact that the inauguration is over. They should have been sent home immediately. If the election was valid and a majority of Americans wanted this outcome (laughable I know) then why are the democRATs so adamant about them remaining there for an additional month?

Yes, I don’t have any objection to trying to use expressions like “one person, one vote,” “humanity” rather than “mankind,” etc., but I’m not about to make any ridiculous assumptions such as the intent to disenfranchise an entire group based on what was once common word usage that had no such intent.

So Trump supporters need to be deprogrammed, do they?

I tell ya what: If Jeopardy's producers have this fascist twat hosting the show, it'll be the last time it's on in our household.

Katie Couric in ‘Jeopardy!’ over GOP ‘deprogram’ comments

Here's a thought: How about we deprogram the leftists that dominate the dominant "news" media, instead?

I've pretty much unplugged from all news sources except for what I read here on SigForum. So the various Nation Guard units have not left DC yet and they're scheduled to be there for an entire month?

WASHINGTON — The National Guard has confirmed that 7,000 to 5,000 troops will stay in Washington DC until at least mid-March 2021, according to officials.

One-thousand of these National Guard troops are from Virginia, according to Virginia National Guard officials.

"As we continue to work to meet the final post-inauguration requirements,
the National Guard has been requested to continue supporting federal law
enforcement agencies with 7,000 members and will draw down to 5,000 through
mid-March," said a National Guard officials in a statement to WUSA9. "We are providing assistance such as security, communications, medical evacuation, logistics, and safety support to state, district and
federal agencies."

As I understand, the justification isn't the rumored Storm but rather -- wait for it -- the impeachment proceedings. Roll Eyes Mad

Yeah, your two-word description is pretty much correct. I couldn't stand her, back when I could still hear and watched TV. Now that I can't hear worth a poop, I don't watch TV at all, because it's frustrating not to be able to hear, so she doesn't bother me at all because I never see her.

Remember, you "one man, one vote" types; this is a leftie argument to get rid of the Senate and the Electoral College.

The senate is not one man one vote in practice because Wyoming has two senators, and California has two senators, and therefore Wyoming's senators represent more than "one vote" worth of power in Washington.

Similarly, the electoral college per state is equal to it's representatives, added to it's senators. Again, Wyoming packs more power in the electoral college per state voter than does California.

"One man, one vote" is a trap; don't fall into it. "Count the legal votes" is a slogan to get behind.

"I vowed to myself to fight against evil more completely and more wholeheartedly than I ever did before. . . . That’s the only way to pay back part of that vast debt, to live up to and try to fulfill that tremendous obligation."

The phrase "one man one vote" is not mentioned once in the Constitution, just like Democracy is not mentioned. The Senate and Electoral College were set up for a reason. The change to popular election of Senators instead of by the State Legislatures was a grave mistake and is the cause of most of the inroads made by the marxists in the past 100 years.

I said nothing about tossing out the Electoral College.
Sheeezzz, I think we all know what happened.
The ballot boxes were stuffed, figured everyone would realize that is what my reference was to.

One man one vote at the polls.

Exactly right.

When I posted that phrase, I meant the voter gets one. As in one each. Not 2, not 20, 200, or 200,000. As some of our opposition would seem to believe is their right. I had no intent to dissolve the electoral college or pare down our republic to a pure democracy.
Para is right, take a fukkin breath will ya?
