Funny, yes, and with Joe Walsh out, I couldn't even tell you who's running against him.

I normally wouldn't vote when my president is running against such weak candidates. I just wanted to give him the numbers to stick it to the dems and its working Big Grin

Former Illinois congressman Joe Walsh ended his Republican primary challenge to President Trump on Friday, abandoning an effort that faced long odds and financial struggles from the start.
“I’m suspending my campaign, but our fight against the Cult of Trump is just getting started. I’m committed to doing everything I can to defeat Trump and his enablers this November. [wink, wink]They say I'm crazy but I've had a good time[/wink, wink],” Walsh said in a tweet.

Unfortunately, A Corrupt Group of Politically Focused DOJ Lawyers Isn’t The Only Issue…

quote:
Four of Robert Mueller’s special counsel prosecutors strategically and purposefully resigned their positions yesterday in an attempt to create a political narrative against U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr – through a ridiculous Roger Stone sentencing memorandum.

You’re a neighbor of mine then!

Btw:

TRUMP - “Wouldn’t a big story be that I got more New Hampshire Primary Votes than any incumbent president, in either party, in the history of that Great State?” Trump wrote on Twitter. “Not an insignificant fact!”

More votes than anyone!

I'm posting this here because there isn't a thread titled, "Draining the Swamp." Maybe there should be...?

President Trump congratulated Attorney General William Barr for taking charge of the Roger Stone case after federal prosecutors apparently went beyond their own recommendations and suggested Stone be sentenced to nine years in prison.

After the DOJ stepped in a and overrode those recommendations, all four prosecutors involved in the case resigned.

I don't care how the swamp gets drained. Fire them, or let them resign. It's all the same to me!

You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless.

Wound't you not salute if you had no military service? Genuinely don't know, curious for more knowledgeable responses.

Normal, President salutes, any others present with prior service salute(although optional), all others, place hand on heart.

I had assumed it was because the POTUS is commander in chief that he salutes and is saluted. The VP is not CINC and thus doesn't salute.

That's my guess.

Did he (Walsh} really say he would do that? The guy hated Obama. Not that I'd support him, but I'd like to think his statement meant he'd support whoever else is on the Republican ticket.

Of course, he didn't say that verbatim. But, the statement might as well mean that, right? Asshole is "committed to doing everything I can to defeat Trump". Anything this jerk, or any other NeverTrupmers/RINOs, does to sabotage Trump's re-election chance is a vote for the commie. Remember the Bushes?
