Once again the Prez is 100% correct here:

This was utter BULLSHIT and I hope he's got his pardon pen ready for Stone and Flynn:

Roger L Simon, writing in Epoch Times, raises the question of whether Mayor Pete may not be scarier than Bernie.

quote:
“The father of Democratic presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg was a Marxist professor who spoke fondly of the Communist Manifesto and dedicated a significant portion of his academic career to the work of Italian Communist Party founder Antonio Gramsci, an associate of Vladimir Lenin.”

Father’s interest in Gramsci was more than a mild, “academic” one:

“[Joseph] Buttigieg was a founding member and president of the International Gramsci Society, an organization that aims to ‘facilitate communication and the exchange of information among the very large number of individuals from all over the world who are interested in Antonio Gramsci’s life and work and in the presence of his thought in contemporary culture.’”

There’s plenty more in that article that was, not surprisingly, largely ignored by the mainstream media. Part of that may be due to Gramsci’s relative obscurity to the American public, even though his ideas have permeated our society to a remarkable extent. There are few political thinkers more important in our time.

So just who was Antonio Gramsci? The Italian Marxist was among those Leninists who were frustrated by the slow pace the recalcitrant “workers of the world” were taking in “throwing off their chains.” He theorized the better approach to revolution, to an ideal communist society, was through the careful organization and efforts of what we now call “elites.” Revolution should be top down.

Gramsci called his system “the march through the institutions”—that is, the media, entertainment, the bureaucracies, the academy, and so forth

Sound familiar? Anything like the United States in 2020?

Returning to Buttigieg (the son), ask yourself this: If you wanted to change today’s America, to bend it inexorably to socialism, scientific or not, would you choose Bernie Sanders’ conventional, in-your-face, “workers of the world unite” method or a more subtle approach that involved slowly co-opting the institutions of our country, from the educational system to, sadly, religion?

I don’t think it takes a genius to say that the latter would be more effective—and ultimately scarier—given the way our advanced and affluent society functions. Bernie, even if he wins the nomination, would be too easily rejected with his fusty Eugene V. Debs style by the larger electorate, possibly disastrously.

The Democrats know this, as most of us do, and so are preparing to select a leader of the moderate lane. As of now that’s between Bloomberg, Klobuchar and Mayor Pete, Biden having faded quickly.

But no one seems to be asking seriously whether Buttigieg—who wrote an essay in praise of Sanders when Pete was still in high school— is indeed moderate, let alone whether he is a Gramscian like his dad.

I feared as much that Mayor Pete is a wolf in sheep's clothing. A most dangerous election result would be Sanders/Buttigieg Democrat ticket. Likely Bernie would have a heart attack and the....

While we are riding high on Trump now, there are always wolves in the dark.

Donald Trump Smashes Incumbent President Primary Record in New Hampshire

President Donald Trump earned historic support in the New Hampshire primary on Tuesday, easily beating the vote tallies of four recent incumbent presidents in the state.

With 90 percent of the vote reporting on Wednesday, Trump won 123,629 votes in the Republican primary, despite not having a serious challenger.

Here is the tally for previous New Hampshire primaries for incumbent presidents, who also won their re-election.

President Donald Trump in 2020: <123,629
President Barack Obama in 2012: 49,080
President George W. Bush in 2004: 52,962
President Bill Clinton in 1996: 76,797
President Ronald Reagan in 1984: 65,033

In 1992, President H.W. Bush faced a formidable primary challenge from Pat Buchanan, winning just over 50 percent of the vote in New Hampshire, before losing in the general election. President Jimmy Carter lost his re-election campaign to Ronald Reagan in 1980, after losing 12 primaries to primary challenger Sen. Ted Kennedy.

The Trump campaign celebrated the historic numbers on Twitter.

“Enthusiasm for Donald Trump is through the roof!” wrote Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale on Twitter on Tuesday night.

Trump also appeared pleased with the numbers as they came in.

“Wouldn’t a big story be that I got more New Hampshire Primary Votes than any incumbent president, in either party, in the history of that Great State?” he added. “Not an insignificant fact!”

On Wednesday, Trump taunted cable news for not highlighting his big victory.

“Fake News CNN and MSDNC have not surprisingly refused to talk about my record-setting number of voters in New Hampshire (and in Iowa),” Trump wrote on Twitter. “That’s why they are poorly rated Fake News!”

The president also predicted he would win both New Hampshire and Iowa in the general election.

Trump campaign surrogates crisscrossed New Hampshire on Tuesday, and the campaign held a victory party.

Absolutely right - Roger Stone needs to be pardoned. Tucker Carlson nailed it tonight when he said that not doing so would give legitimacy to their Russia collusion hoax.

So do we think Trump will wait until he is reelected to pardon them?

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) said Wednesday on CNN that Attorney General William Barr should resign or be impeached over the Justice Department’s reversal on Roger Stone’s sentence following a tweet posted by President Donald Trump.

Warren said, “I have to say I know everybody wants to talk about the horse race, but the thing that is really getting to me right now is what’s going on over at the Justice Department. The whole notion that we have people in our Justice Department resigning because Donald Trump’s inappropriate influence and the attorney general overturning a sentencing of Donald Trump’s cronies. You know, right in front of our eyes, we are watching a descent into authoritarianism. And this just seems like a moment to me everybody should be speaking up.”

She added, “Understand we should all be calling for the Attorney general to resign. What Barr has done should mean that we are demanding a resignation, and if that guy won’t resign, then the House should start impeachment proceedings against him.”

The hard core leftists love to spout “x arrested, y convicted, z serving time” but the whole thing was predicated on a house of lies! I am actually amazed at their perseverance. They stick together and never give up the con. Ever!

Reading of a heckler shouting "Racist" to our president while he was eating a burger in NH, I'm reminded of an idea for a new ad. And cannot imagine too many AMERICANS of either party denying the logic.

"Look where the liberal inclusive policies of the Left have gotten us. Our young women cannot even compete in gender-specific track events without adult males wanting to compete against them. Let's put it in perspective. You've supported your daughter's dreams for over a decade, she finally gets to college, and now she has to race against him? Where is the logic? Where does it end?"

Look, I know it's still nine months to the election, but I'm worried that so much WIN is going to make us (Trump supporters) complacent.

I can't turn around these days without seeing ads for Doomberg, street signs for Yang (yes, I know he dropped out), bumper stickers for Bernie (always a head-scratcher for me), and Liawatha is coming to town to address the elitist tyrants that she helped get elected to the Virginia General Assembly.

Have you heard about the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact? Virginia's House just voted to join. In short, once this movement gains enough states to total 270 electoral votes, they will allocate their electoral votes to the winner of the national popular election. This flies against the intent of the framers to give smaller states a voice, and would allow California and New York to dictate the winner of the presidential election. There are currently 16 states signed up, for a total of 196 electoral votes (73% of the total needed).

The fight is far from over. We can't let down, and most importantly, WE HAVE TO GET OUT THE VOTE. Winning the popular vote makes the NPVIC irrelevant. At least for now.

You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless.

If you like President Trump now, wait until you read these examples of President Trump's kindness and generosity.

The Facts About Trump That Are Deadly For Democrats

Trump not only allowed actress Jennifer Hudson, who is black, and her family to stay free at his Trump International Hotel & Tower in Chicago after her mother and brother were murdered in 2008, he apparently increased security for them.

Democrats know that the more voters learn about Trump, the slimmer their chances are in 2020. There’s a reason they look so desperate.
