Generally, I would agree. John Ashcroft was the best AG I can remember:

I think both he and Hegseth would have a difficult time with confirmation hearings, but as I understand it, Trump is lobbying to make all of these appointments without traditional hearings. Recess appointments.

It's possible Hegseth and Gaetz are both decoy or dummy candidates. So extreme that both are sure to be rejected.

This will then ensure an easier confirmation to get the two eventual candidates Trump really wanted.

I would say most people commenting voted for President Trump, but some want to question his judgment on heads of cabinets that he is responsible for.

Let's support President Trump and let him do his job. He learned a lot about Washington D.C. in the last 8 years.

Matt Gaetz as Attorney General is as effective a pick as Tom Homan as the Border Czar.

Both men will be absolute bulldogs in their jobs.

Gabbard will be effective as Director of DNI.

The idea that Trump tapped Rubio as SOS in order to get him out of the Senate and allow DeSantis to replace him with someone more conservative reconciles the questioning of his choice. If this is in fact the case, it demonstrates a level of savvy which was not present in the President Trump of his first term.

I think you got the right idea on Rubio para. If he does a good job, then all is well and we get a better Senator in his place. If he screws it up, Trump removes him and we still have that Senator. Its kind of a win win for Trump and the GOP.
