I often watch The Five on Fox and recommend it if you have not tuned in. The commentaries of Jesse Watters and Greg Gutfeld are often funny, but also deeply insightful. Like Para's.

Judge Jeanine has had a long career in the law, so she has a lot of relevant information to bring to an issue.

Dana Perino was Press Secretary, so again she has an interesting perspective.

I used to think that Hillary had the most irritating voice on the planet. But Jessica Tarlov (sp?) has her beaten at a walk. Her voice could be weaponized.

It is annoying but really is just simple 'vocal fry'. Pretty pedestrian at that. So I must disagree.

You be the judge:

When Hilldawg was stumping, her voice was astoundingly close in pitch and timbre to the aliens on the movie Mars Attacks.

God Himself, high in heaven, probably overheard that scree and regretted making her that way.

Seems the current word is "loyalist"

Donald Trump is fielding his positions with loyalists, followed by commentary that it is all about reward/payback and nothing else.

How 'bout not having a Benedict Arnold descendant there to stab him in the back, leak sensitive information, spy on him or conspiring his demise? Eek

The Trump team had used the word "loyal" quite a bit last year and earlier this year, they made it clear that loyalty was going to be top priority with future administration and staff members. He learned a harsh, painful lesson in regards to loyalty during his first term, with the backstabbers, saboteurs, and he ain't making the same mistakes again. If the legacy media wants to paint this word as dirty, fuck them.

So, what do we think about John Thune of SoDak as majority leader?

Remember how meek the press was around Biden? They are already starting to harass President Trump.

Thune will be fine.

The most important role of the majority leader is being able to whip votes and knowing the Senate rules intimately. By all accounts Thune is better in that regard than Scott. I'll wait to see how he performs before I give my opinion otherwise.

This from Charlie Kirk on “X,” regarding President Trump’s selection of Pete Hegseth as SecDef.

[QUOTE]Something people need to understand about the Hegseth pick.

Our military is in crisis.

Our navy can barely build ships anymore. Our army has squandered years of munitions on the Ukraine quagmire.

Our soldiers are out of shape and morale is low.

Our country lost in Afghanistan and is losing right now to Houthis in Yemen.

Our military purged thousands of experienced patriots for not getting a Covid shot.

Professors warn that standards at our service academies have declined precipitously.

Our military had officers pick a fight with Tucker Carlson because he didn’t want pregnant women on the frontlines.

Our military admits mentally ill people who think they are the opposite sex and pays for their unnecessary medical procedures.

Our generals leak to the media about defying orders they might not like from President Trump.

All of this happened with “experienced” establishment generals running things. It’s unacceptable, and if it continues our country will keep losing wars, until we lose one we can’t afford to lose.

We need a SecDef who understands the scale of this problem and is ready for bold, decisive action. We need a smart outsider — and Pete Hegseth is a brilliant man who has thrived in the military, in academia, in finance, and in media. He understands the nature of this crisis and is ready to attack it immediately.

The people complaining think things are fine. They are afraid of losing cushy sinecures and lavish contracts. They want to maintain a failing status quo that works for them.

That's right, and what we need now is what we're about to get- someone who will come in and clean house like no establishment person ever will.

The Democrat Party went down in flames. When the flames go out, let's blow the ashes into the wind.

The mainstream media is also dead. The obituary just has not yet been written. They are being replaced by social media and podcasts. Joe Rogan's huge audience is largely because listeners trust him.

And if you are anywhere near Hollywood, you can probably hear the egos of celebrities popping like overinflated balloons.

So-- the Democrat Party, the main stream media, and Hollywood celebrities. The trifecta!

Beautiful to behold.

If, as many of us fear, Thune turns out to be a RINO asshole, Trump has such an overwhelming mandate that the ashes of Thune's career will be among those we blow into the wind.

EVERYONE in DC knows that Trump led the red wave, he is responsible. Unlike 2016, he is now the face of the Republican Party, he owns it. And I think you'll find a lot of people in the Senate and House, including some Democrats, who will tread lightly in regards to Trump. Thune will be smart enough to get the cabinet confirmations through quickly, and to get the Trump mandate through as well, this is exactly what the people voted for. The mood of the country heavily favors Trump and Thune knows it.

Once those clowns are drummed-out of the service, their security clearances need to be revoked. Way too many 'retirees' and non-governmental employees are holding security clearances, using that leverage to maintain access and influence once they've hung-up their uniform. Once you get out, your access ends; getting into business that requires such access, fill-out the paperwork and go though the vetting process like everyone else.
