Hoping that Begich pulls this out, but it's close and there could be shenanigans with the ranked choice voting system.


Third parties are nothing but a drain. Loser should have to pay for the runoff out of pocket.

It's not 3rd parties it's the really retarded ranked choice voting system. A candidate needs to receive 50% +1 of the vote to avoid ranked choice kicking in. Once that kicks they start with eliminating the lowest vote getter and count the 2nd choice selections of his supporters as votes.

It's a terrible system. It's how Mary Peltola became the first democrat elected to the House by the state of Alaska. She only received 38% of the vote and still got elected. Nick Begich and Sarah Palin were running against her and split the conservative vote. Ranked choice voting kicked in and a lot of Begich's supporters picked Peltola rather than Palin as their 2nd choice and Peltola won the election.

You can also than ranked choice voting for giving Lisa Murkowski another term in the Senate. Kelly Tshibaka actually received more votes than Murkowski but did not receive 50% + 1. Ranked choice kicked in and the democrat candidate only received 10% of the vote, but her supporters picked Murkowski as their 2nd choice and Murkowski went back to the Senate.

So we've got a US Representative in Congress who only received 38% of the vote and a Senator who was not the leading vote getter all because of ranked choice. If it ever comes up a a ballot measure in your state, vote it down!

Those who are red pilled or walkaways are a truly great exception! They had to alter their way of thinking and I'm grateful, but it had to be a very hard thing to do.

I think with a narrowly focused effort a La. PA by Scot Presler, they could flip NY in next few elections.

This is truly a great move by Trump.

I wonder how much of that campaign money was spent on lavish hotels, dinners, etc., as opposed to paying the vendors that are now clamoring for payment for services rendered.

I think a full accounting is in order so everyone understands how the DNC was spending all of that hard earned money from American Citizens.

Take a drive out through Long Island, and you'll soon realize it's MAGA country out there. One of my best friends lives in Long Island. His town is chock full of Trump supporters.
