That is awesome. Thanks for posting this. Trump has some brilliant people on his team that's for sure, to come up with that. Jim ________________________ "If you can't be a good example, then you'll have to be a horrible warning" -Catherine Aird

NYT: Barr Tries to Fire U.S. Attorney in Trump-Related Cases, but He Won’t Go The United States attorney in Manhattan, Geoffrey Berman, had been leading the inquiry into Rudolph Giuliani. The clash sets up a crisis in the Justice Department. xxxxxxxxx How to solve the "crisis" ? AG Barr: ”Because you have declared that you have no intention of resigning, I have asked the President to remove you as of today, and he has done so.” Barr has a previously scheduled interview with Maria Bartiromo tomorrow, Sunday June 21. seen at CTH

It's a great video but be advised that it's two and a half years old.

Ohhhhhh. A "crisis in the Department." There's no crisis at all implicit in Main Justice informing the U.S. Marshal for the SD/NY that a) a former employee who has no lawful business inside the private area of the USAO is refusing to leave and b) he should be removed as a trespasser or arrested if he resists.

This is easily remedied. ____________________________________________________ "I am your retribution." - Donald Trump, speech at CPAC, March 4, 2023

Any President can hire and fire "at will" a federal appointee like this whiny little bitch and if he refuses to leave, Barr can always have a few US Deputy Marshalls escort him out or even arrest if needed. It's done all the time by both Parties but somehow if Trump does it...it's a scandal or crisis.

Regardless of the President's authority and United States Code, something tells me that the democrats will make (another) issue of this guys outright removal...and a book will be released sooner than later. Apparently he showed up at the office today and told the media that he was "there to do his job". Maybe he didn't get the letter yet.

President Trump just declared all of us to be warriors. I pray that I can rise to that.

But now he's a leftist hero. The concept of a U.S. Attorney "directing" investigations is frankly BS to begin with. Cases are run by career prosecutors, supervised by more senior career prosecutors, and while the USA might be the titular head of his/her office most policy decisions of any import are made with heavy advice from a) the career attorneys in his office or b) career attorneys in DC. The appointed U.S. Attorney dances to the tune played by the Attorney General and "Main Justice," or they quickly get to add "Member of the Distinguished Order of the Right Boot To My Ass" to their list of awards and honors. His predecessor in SDNY, Preet Bharara, played the same grandstanding game after the inauguration. Custom is that "holdover" appointees tender a courtesy resignation to the new President. He can choose to accept or refuse the resignation. Preet was having none of that, basically needed an eviction order and "the hook" to pull him out of his office. Supplemental to all of this, SDNY sees itself as the most important prosecutor's office in the nation and basically not beholden to anyone, even the Attorney General. Because, Manhattan is the proven center of the world, and shit. This message has been edited. Last edited by: parabellum,
