So...will the Dems change their tune on all this early voting if it turns out we beat them at their own game this time around?

They tend to do that a lot if you haven't noticed yet.

This is the first Presidential Election since about 2000 that I have not been able to listen to Rush Limbaugh's take on what is happening. I miss him.

Rest In Peace, El Rushbo.

Holy Shit!

BLM leader votes for Trump: Blacks 'haven't got anything in return' for supporting Democrats

https://justthenews.com/politi..._campaign=newsletter

The co-founder of the Black Lives Matter Rhode Island chapter, who demanded Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse resign or give up his membership in an "all white" club, made a clean break with Democrats this week.

Democratic nominee Kamala Harris getting "anywhere close to power ... would be a disaster for the country," Mark Fisher told the New York Post. While "historically" blacks have voted overwhelmingly for Democrats, "we haven't gotten anything in return. To me that's the definition of insanity."

The self-described lifelong Democrat now regrets voting for Joe Biden in 2020 and says his eureka moment was realizing that "after 60 years, our ghettos still shouldn't look like a bomb was dropped on it," education systems "should not still be horribly failing" and crime and poverty remained "abysmal."

Fisher has been a public fan of GOP nominee Donald Trump for a year, when President Biden was still the presumptive Democratic nominee.

"We've been used and abused for so long by that party," he told YouTube host Kim Iversen Nov. 6, 2023. "They don't value our vote" and Democratic policies are "basically racist," while Trump is "going to give it to you straight" and has done more for blacks than "any president I can think of in my lifetime."

Fox News reported that the national BLM and BLM Rhode Island PAC, a separate in-state organization, have called Fisher an "imposter" who endorsed Trump for "a publicity stunt."

Good versus Evil.

Few issues can be so reduced without oversimplification. But this election is Good versus Evil.

Since the days of the Founders, Trump is the only President worthy to stand among them.

Like them, he is motivated purely by national ideals of freedom, independence, and prosperity.

Like them, he is rich, and stepped away from a life of opulence and ease.

Franklin said, "we must hang together, or surely we will hang separately." Trump too has willingly put his life on the line. The image of him standing up with blood running down his face, making a fist and shouting "Fight! Fight! Fight!" will live forever alongside the heroic image of "The Flag Raising on Iwo Jima."

Trump, Vance, RFK, Jr, Tulsi Gabbard, Elon Musk, and the others who will be part of his administration, are Good incarnate.

On the other side, we have Kamala, Waltz, and all the Democrats who have been connected to Biden. If truth were water, and you went through every word they said, you would die of thirst.

Everything that so many American men and women have died to protect, they would crush. No free speech. No Second Amendment. No American Dream.

Evil.

But Good will triumph!

In Texas we are not allowed to have any recording devices within 100 feet of the polling place. Could just be me, but my voting experience was very tense. It felt a like the "No Soup For You" episodes. Like you'd get kicked out of line for any minor infraction of the rigidly enforced (stupid) rules.

No phones, no t-shirts or hats of any kind that had political messages. The poll workers were very rude and short tempered walking the line barking terse instructions to "PUT YOUR PHONES AWAY!"

I felt like everybody was kind of on edge. Sure feels like a lot of anxiety. Not a happy "I'm so glad to vote" thing this cycle.

I think we're going to win, but it's close.

I see you're in Round Rock. Are you close enough to Austin for that to now be a blue area?

You can't use your phone while waiting in line in Texas? That's just stupid.

I thought Texas was a free state but you all some some really restrictive stuff.
