If I were the OP, I'd hie me off to the Mt. Clemens area of SE Michigan to see if I could find me some of that Unobtainium that is said to have probably fallen to earth, there. That'd probably cure what ails him.

Sorry, the news reports that the Unobtanium is probably scattered somewhere in the area of Hamburg Township, southeast portion of Livingston County. DIBS!!!!!!!

I have no advice to offer the OP or add to the discussion, but wanted to make at least a token post, to put my stamp on what will certainly go down as one of the top three epic threads of SF. I have read the thread over the last couple weeks with interest and not a small degree of frustration, trying to discern and interpret the OP’s intentions, but I still have no idea what any of it is about. So: I’ll just wish the OP well with whatever challenges he may or may not be experiencing.

Ya, I don't understand what you said either.

I believe I have made some sense out of what the OP was intending to post initially:

He would like to hire an off duty LEO to act as a driver and bodyguard while he commences a lawsuit against the general medical community in the state of Washington. This person should also possess certain medical/surgical skills and be well connected in the paramedic field in case of impending emergencies. It would be helpful if this LEO can assist with, or manage the above mentioned lawsuit, and maybe help a relative overcome his perceived need to attend oncology appointments while OP requires the relative's services.

That should be an easy position to fill. Try Monster Board.
At any rate, I wish the OP success in dealing with these issues (and possibly others).

Out of all our theories, this seems best. However, the diabetes seems a very easy and general thing a very short order of test can find, since most I know are quickly spotted. YMMV

I want you guys to lay off, please. The point has been driven home with a sledge hammer. The man says he'll soon be able to clarify some of this. Let's give him a chance. He should now understand the importance of being clear when he posts in this thread.

On a serious note, I think that's pretty close to the truth more than anything else.

OP has stated that he has diabetes, Nonketotic Hyperosmolar Syndrome (which is a complication of diabetes), and is on "copious amount of insulin".

Poorly managed diabetes can (I believe) account for all or virtually all of his symptoms, numbness in extremities, nausea after eating, loss of appetite, "comas", loss of balance, pain in multiple parts of the body, and even the mental confusion (disordered thinking) he has shown here in spades.

Properly managing diabetes is about more than just taking "copious amounts of insulin".

For a start, I would like to suggest that the OP get an A1C test to measure how his blood sugar has "averaged" over the last few months. These tests are fairly cheap. Home versions are available at the pharmacy or can be performed at something like a CVS Minute Clinic.

Get an A1C test and go see an endocrinologist. Stat.

Diabetes is nothing to fuck around with.

I'm not an attorney, but have a lot of involvement with them professionally and as a result receive both legal training and on-going guidance. One of the things they drive home is attorney-client privilege. IME, the OP hiring the "outside" help from law enforcement and/or paramedics wouldn't have attorney-client privilege protections for any of their discussions. However, if the OP's attorney hired them there is a greater likelihood of protecting attorney-client privilege for any discussions between OP and "outside" help.

Hopefully, Texas attorneys can chime in and say yay/nay on the above as my experience is O&G not anything with HIPPA.

Having both medical conditions the OP mentioned I second this. Gallbladder disease, (gallstones), and diabetes are two of the easiest conditions to diagnose. They can be confirmed with a blood test and an ultrasound in just about any medical setting. I look forward to the actually finding out what the deal is, although I'm not holding out much hope for a simple answer.

I have reviewed most of the posts made in this topic since I turned off my computer last night. I don't know if I have slept at all since then, partially or maybe primarily due to worrying about the mess that I unintentionally created on SIGforum.

Para, due to legal reasons, I don't know that I will be able to clarify much soon other than rewriting prior posts. I do think that I will soon be able to report getting the help and advice that I need. That did not happen today due to sleep deprivation.

I can explain most of my other neglected and complicated medical problems which I have been vague about, but I don't want to gross out people. (I am referring to my long untreated urological problems. I used wording to try to make those problems searchable for those interested.)

I have an appointment tomorrow with the surgeon who removed my long diseased gallbladder. A liver biopsy was also performed during the surgery at my request, but I pretty much know the results.

Be rest assured no SIGforum members are losing sleep over your post, and neither should you.

We read it for entertainment, to share knowledge, and sometimes to challenge ourselves with solving mysteries.

Your posts, I would consider are in the unsolved mystery category.
