She was interviewed on CBS News "Face the Nation" last Sunday. She was polite and explained some of the public misperceptions of her actions AND some things that were completely changed by the media. She was attacked by the ultra-conservatives and ultra-liberals alike. Even Nancy piled on! She swears she has never been political and bringing politics to her job was a no-no.

The scariest thing she said in the interview was that there were two streams of information going to the President: One stream was from her task force and another was an information stream of unknown origin. Trump was listening to and following the advice of the unknown source and talking about shit Brix had never heard of. He showed up at one public info meeting displaying a chart she had never seen before. Think about that a minute. The President was following the advice of UNKNOWN sources who told him what he wanted to hear rather than the advice of the task force of recognized experts he set up.

You need to get your news from other sources besides the Main Stream Media. Watch the 2nd video down in the link below.
Judy Mikovits will give you the other side.

Sounds like a load of bullshidt, unknown to Trump and his staff or unknown to her. I seriously doubt Trump was on the dark web surfing for COVID graphs to display on world wide media...

MSM bullshit: The source I paraphrased was Dr. Bilx's own mouth. Watch the video I linked and then get back to me.
The task force was wrong: There are thousands of websites that will say what you want to hear. That's how they make money. Listen to them; don't believe what Dr. Bilx says.

I understand that masks and bar closings pisses us off. What I don't understand is equating temporary steps to TRY to curtail the spread of covid19 with repealing the first ten amendments of our constitution. I am comfortable that I know when my 10 freedoms are threatened and I am ready to defend them. But this ain't it.

That's like saying you couldn't get good information from CNN so you checked with MS-NBC.

That statment is incorrect. He continues to treat Covid patients and treated Ebola patients as well. I dont know about his malpractice history.

15 days to slow the spread. Remember that line of horseshit? We're coming up on almost a year now. Biden's 100 day mask mandate...what's that gonna be? Ten years? I don't understand why you don't understand.

He was following the advice of unknown sources? BS
She sounds like a typical elitist who thinks they are the smartest person they ever met, and if you follow someone else's advice, then it's a moral crime if not an actual crime.
Just because it's unknown to her, doesn't mean it's wrong or illegitimate or he's being advised by a circle of witches and warlocks.
Tell me what major piece of advice from Fauci and Brix did Trump NOT follow? He seems to have followed pretty much everything they told him, some of which he probably should not have in hindsight.

babylon bee for chuckles...

Triple-Masker Looks Down On People Who Only Double Mask

U.S.—Health experts are now recommending that people double mask -- place a second mask over the first mask -- to better protect themselves from the virus, or maybe to protect others from themselves possibly having the virus (it’s still kind of unclear). Many are denouncing this recommendation, especially triple-maskers, who find it wholly inadequate.

“I guess I’d only double mask if I didn’t really care about not killing grandma,” said the extremely muffled Mark Carlson, who was wearing three masks at once. “But I have three masks on because there’s an ongoing pandemic and I care.”

Triple-maskers point out that three masks are 50% more effective than two masks. “If the virus somehow makes it past two masks, then we’re all done for,” said Karen Walker, although her exact words were unclear as it was kind of hard to hear her through three masks. “But not if you have a third mask. The virus wasn’t expecting that.”

“Really, I can’t see any reason to wear only two masks unless you’re some kind of misanthrope who wants to see everyone die,” she added.

Not everyone is on board with three masks, though, especially quadruple-maskers, who find three masks to be inadequate -- but most of them have suffocated to death.

Well you are entitled to your opinion about his personality but you are still incorrect about his treating patients. The majority of infectious disease specialists treat patients because it is an important way to keep on top of the disease process. You may wish to look a little deeper. I frankly could care less, but think it is wrong to suggest things that are not true.

Is the WSJ credible? That internet search took 30 seconds.

The lockdowns have claimed my cousin.

I got the call Saturday. He was in his early 50's, twice divorced, living alone in a house that was now too big for just him, and he was planning to sell. He was very successful, had been a pharma plant manager and VP, and battled the demons of depression and alcoholism after his first divorce a decade ago.

We hadn't seen each other more than maybe 3 times in the past 25 years and never talked on the phone. But around Christmas I did a reconnect with that side of the family and we started talking often, finding various things in common and debating the things we didn't agree on.

They said he had a seizure Saturday morning while visiting his parents, went into cardiac arrest, and CPR could not revive him (my aunt is a nurse). They also said he had been drinking a lot lately and it might have been DT's from withdrawl. I didn't notice it specifically when I was talking to him - he might have been drinking but it wasn't obvious. Then I remembered yesterday, he said he was taking Wellbutrin. I read a while ago that it increases the risk of seizures, especially when mixed with alcohol. Have to wait for the coroner to determine cause of death, but one of these two possibilities is likely. Being alone all the time and working from home doesn't help you stay on the wagon, or self-moderate.

I've been more or less in shock for the past couple days. I'm not looking for condolences.

I just want to put down in words that the world lost a good man on Saturday, and I am pretty sure he would still be alive if not for the politically motivated insanity we've been living through for almost a year.

Quite the shame that a whole lot of people would still be alive if it were not for the BS we've had to deal with. From these sorts of deaths, to drug OD's, suicides, and people being to scared to continue their regular treatment regiments, a lot of good people have died that should not have. Unfortunately given the political climate we live in today, these people will likely never be quantified in the review of the 'real' costs of this bug and the response to it.

I have a cardiologist neighbor, probably the most well renowned cardiologist in Florida who has personally met Fauci on a few occasions. His comment to me...Fauci is nothing but a bureaucrat in a white lab coat who's always been willing to mill around and take the credit while others did the actual work. His recommendation to me about Fauci...Ignore every word that falls out of his face, and focus on what the doctors on the ground in the ER's are saying about the treatment of Covid, assuming the media will allow any of that information out. And "...at the top of their game"? Really. If this 'expert' is "at the top of his game", he must have been the world's biggest cluster when he was younger.

Fauci has been sucking on the .gov teat for a VERY long time now and it’s all he knows. My wife’s grandfather worked at HHS in the early 80’s and told us he remembered seeing him there back then, he was young and thought he was a big shot even then.

Fauci began his long career at the National Institutes of Health's National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in 1968.

He graduated from Medical School in 1966.
He completed his internship and residency at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center.

As little as Fauci has been correct, I’d really hate to think he’s still seeing patients.

Giving the devil his due:

This is a new virus. Nobody knew from the beginning what was going to happen -- and we don't know where it's heading now with all the mutations and the new variants.

I've followed Tony Fauci for many years and think he's a good doc doing his best.

Obviously, YMMV.
