Dr. McCullough and I often marvel at how the mainstream media somehow fails to see and report facts of enormous importance—facts that are documented in academic papers, grant proposals, e-mail correspondence, and video footage.

All a journalist has to do is read the documents and report their content. And yet, somehow, most legacy media journalists are apparently unable to gain awareness of and report what is immediately at hand.

Take the 2015 paper published by UNC Chapel Hill Professor Ralph Baric et al. titled A SARS-like cluster of circulating bat coronaviruses shows potential for human emergence.As the authors (including Zhengli-Li Shi at the Wuhan Institute of Virology) state in their abstract:

Here we examine the disease potential of a SARS-like virus, SHC014-CoV, which is currently circulating in Chinese horseshoe bat populations1. Using the SARS-CoV reverse genetics system2, we generated and characterized a chimeric virus expressing the spike of bat coronavirus SHC014 in a mouse-adapted SARS-CoV backbone. The results indicate that group 2b viruses encoding the SHC014 spike in a wild-type backbone can efficiently use multiple orthologs of the SARS receptor human angiotensin converting enzyme II (ACE2), replicate efficiently in primary human airway cells and achieve in vitro titers equivalent to epidemic strains of SARS-CoV.

The purported purpose of this Gain-of-Function work—i.e., generating a chimeric virus (combining genetic material from two different viruses) capable of infecting human airway cells—was to lay the groundwork for vaccine development and testing in the event that a wild bat coronavirus were eventually to infect humans.

Under the paper’s section titled Biosafety and biosecurity, the authors wrote:

Reported studies were initiated after the University of North Carolina Institutional Biosafety Committee approved the experimental protocol (Project Title: Generating infectious clones of bat SARS-like CoVs; Lab Safety Plan ID: 20145741; Schedule G ID: 12279). These studies were initiated before the US Government Deliberative Process Research Funding Pause on Selected Gain-of-Function Research Involving Influenza, MERS and SARS Viruses (http://www.phe.gov/s3/dualuse/Documents/gain-of-function.pdf). This paper has been reviewed by the funding agency, the NIH. Continuation of these studies was requested, and this has been approved by the NIH.

So there it is. Ralph Baric and his colleague at the Wuhan Institute of Virology plainly state that they engineered a bat coronavirus, using Gain-of-Function methods, that infected the respiratory tract of humanized mice, and the NIH approved their study because it was initiated before the US Government pause on Gain-of-Function Research.

Anyone familiar with Ralph Baric’s storied career as the world’s greatest authority on bat coronaviruses (both natural and chimeric) has, for the last three years, wondered: “Where is Professor Baric? Why isn’t he an official consultant on the nature of SARS-CoV-2? Why hasn’t he been a member of any pandemic response task force?”

Until late 2022, no one in Congress, the White House, or in any of the federal health agencies ever mentioned the name Ralph Baric in any official public discussions. This is probably the most glaring omission in the history of scientific investigations. It’s the equivalent of a Congressional investigation into the development of the atomic bombs dropped on Japan without questioning or even mentioning Robert Oppenheimer or Enrico Fermi.

Finally, on November 23, 2022, Dr. Fauci was deposed by a federal judge about the origins of SARS-CoV-2. As the Epoch Times reported on March 8, 2023, the attorneys general of Missouri and Louisiana told a federal court in a recent filing that parts of Dr. Fauci’s testimony are not credible.

Especially conspicuous and dubious were his statements about Ralph Baric. To quote the Epoch Times report:

“I know who he is. I doubt if I’ve ever met him,” Fauci said during the late 2022 deposition—the first time he answered questions under oath since the pandemic began.

Fauci acknowledged the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, which he headed until around the New Year, provided funding for Baric.

“But you don’t remember ever meeting him in person?” he was asked.

“I don’t recall. I could have met him. I run into several thousands of scientists that we refer to, but I don’t recall, certainly, having a relationship with him,” Fauci responded.

But Fauci’s official calendar lists a one-on-one meeting with Baric on Feb. 11, 2020. And a newly revealed message from a professor who recounted Baric’s account of the meeting showed they talked about man-made virus combinations.

“I talked to Ralph for a long time last night. He sounds beat,” Matt Frieman, a University of Maryland professor, wrote in a Feb. 18, 2020, message. “He said he sat in Fauci’s office talking about the outbreak and chimeras.”

World Health Organization no longer deserves another cent from of American taxpayers

It seems that long repressed truth about COVID is finally allowed to trickle out. The Wall Street Journal broke the story that the Department of Energy’s intelligence now indicates that the COVID-19 virus "likely arose from a laboratory leak." FBI Director Chris Wray is now saying the same in public. Despite the FBI’s opaqueness with the American people while "assessing the origins," for "quite some time," most people – not religiously devoted to the government/media/Big Pharma-approved narrative – could see the writing on the wall years ago.

Still, vindication of the truth alone is not enough. Justice demands accountability for all those who withheld and helped obscure information on the origins of this pandemic — especially the World Health Organization (WHO), which no longer deserves a scintilla of America’s trust, another penny of her tax dollars, or another second of her membership.

WHO Director Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus recently lashed out at people asking questions about COVID origins for supposedly turning "what should be a purely scientific process into a political football." Such obvious defensive deflection makes sense; after all, while China was doing its best to cover up the virus’ origins, the WHO was the regime’s loudest cheerleader on the international stage, despite all indications of wrongdoing.

The WHO parroted Chinese Communist Party (CCP) propaganda from the earliest days of the pandemic. It told the world there was "no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission" of COVID-19 after ignoring Taiwan’s warnings about human-to-human transmission. The WHO praised Beijing for its COVID-19 transparency, while the CCP simultaneously silenced whistleblowers like Dr. Li Wenliang for "spreading false rumors" about the virus. The WHO even provided false information to Congress in its pro-Chinese communist PR campaign. Meanwhile, the WHO nevertheless had the audacity to preen about the dangers of "misinformation" throughout the pandemic.

But this long train of abuses does not end with lies and propaganda.

The WHO’s stated mission is "to promote health, keep the world safe and serve the vulnerable" but COVID-19 showed us that this failure of an organization is riddled with rot and corruption. The WHO and its enablers in so-called public health agencies were architects of a pandemic "response" that shattered lives, shuttered businesses, impoverished humanity, harmed future generations, a decimated trust in our institutions.

President Trump recognized the WHO for what it is and rightly withdrew from the organization in 2020, citing all of its failures. But defying logic, President Biden rejoined and restored funding to the WHO on his first day in office. Then the Biden administration and congressional Democrats doubled down by giving the organization a $280 million taxpayer-funded windfall, on top of the millions of dollars we provide to the organization each year.

As if this wasn’t enough, the Biden administration is now supporting the creation of a new international agreement that will fork over even more power and legitimacy to globalist WHO bureaucrats in Geneva. Officially tabbed as the "WHO Convention, Agreement, or Other International Instrument on Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness, and Response" or "WHO CA+" this "zero draft" of the proposed agreement, set for final consideration in 2024, would further empower the WHO by granting it more power to craft worldwide "public health" policy.

Specifically, this accord would recognize WHO as the central authority on "international health work" and give it the power to commit signing nations to squash free speech by tackling so-called misinformation through the "promotion of international cooperation." Further, the WHO Director would have the power to "declare a public health emergency" and be tasked with implementing "health equity," which effectively means further hamstringing the American peoples quality of and access to care to satisfy the WHO’s woke, global agenda — all on the taxpayer dime.

Enough. This nation was founded by defying the will of an unaccountable foreign power. President Biden and his handlers prefer to resubmit the American people to serve the international elite. Congress must not let them.

One of the first bills I introduced this Congress would defund the WHO. H.R. 343, the "No Taxpayer Funding for the World Health Organization Act" would prohibit the United States from providing any contributions to this corrupt organization.

Further, simply defunding the WHO is not enough. Congress must ensure that the public health bureaucrats here at home – from Anthony Fauci, to Rochelle Walensky, to Francis Collins – who shredded the Constitution and subjected the American people to years of tyranny be held accountable too. We can do this through hearings, reforms, and overhauls of their bloated agencies through the appropriations process.

It ought to be a simple rule of thumb that we don’t give money to organizations that lie and undermine our interests. The WHO completely failed at the very thing it was designed to do while bolstering the biggest foreign threat to our national security in the process. It will never hold itself accountable; that job belongs to the American people and those elected to serve them.

With the number of reports of adverse reactions, including death, some of them have to be in people in .gov or big pharma or big hospitals or big media or big enterprise. If not the US, then at least globally.

Where are reports of these cases? They should be disruptive both w/in those mainstream tyrannical groups as well as in the general public? Am I missing that? Are they being silenced? Are they non-existent? What's going on?

With all these adverse events, it's hard to believe that there isn't some tide turning in the groups that pushed the shot. Why have they been so immune that they aren't turning? Okay. I get that silence can be purchased across .gov, media, big enterprise. Largely fungible employees. Easily replaceable.

But the medical community? Doctors and nurses? This would suggest that either the medical community is comprised largely of idiots who have no clue and/or they just don't care about people being harmed. If the medical community were aware and cared about people, they should have sufficient numbers to just say Stop. If they say Stop en masse, what are the hospitals and license boards going to do? Fire all of them? It's not like they could just replace them easily and quickly.

There are a few brave ones willing to risk their careers. Peter McCullough stands out. But most are sheep, all too willing to go along with the herd. Very few doctors still own their own practice or do their own research. Most just do what they are told.

Part of what .gov and social tyrants learned is how to use one’s livelihood to control his behavior. If docs are silent and compliant as a group, I wouldn’t be one bit surprised if they had been coerced. They have a lot to lose so they’ll be cooperative.

Docs I've known, as well as many scientists, have been convinced that the only valid source of scientific truth is a peer reviewed published paper. Even better if it involves a double blind controlled study.

Most of these people are very busy, and are fed reinforcing instruction from authorities. It could be medical journals, professional societies, medical schools, and peers.

The Covid literature has been heavily slanted. Only narrative compliant studies were published for a long time.
