Depending on who is replacing him, I may resume giving money to the NRA again on Feb 1.
EDIT: It's potentially a damn good start on reforming the NRA back into the 800 lb gun rights gorilla we all want. Next, they have to get the 76 member BOD to 9 or less directors as a 76 member board rarely comes to alignment to give direction to the NRA executives. Numerous studies have shown that board of directors totaling 10 and above are ineffective.

Sorry to say, this is good news. And yes, perhaps the NRA will gain more members, sharply focus their org to fighting the commies.

I have despised him since the "Jack booted thugs" remarks. That was when I quit the first time, but now I have to be a member to stay in our gun club, so I held my nose and became a life member. Don't let the door hit you on the way out Wayne.

Don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya.
"If you’re a leader, you lead the way. Not just on the easy ones; you take the tough ones too…” – MAJ Richard D. Winters (1918-2011), E Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil... Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." - Isaiah 5:20,24
Wonder how much money they are giving him to leave. And, I will again support the NRA now that the chief thief is leaving. I have Been a life member long before that man came to power.
No organization benefits from a leadership that serves in perpetuity. At some point it inevitably becomes self serving. Change in leadership can be healthy, and I agree a smaller board makes alot of sense.
What a scumbag. It’s way too soon to start giving that organization a dime. He remained for how long after his thievery came to light? Makes me question the integrity of the entire organization. This message has been edited. Last edited by: 400m,
