Staring back from the abyss |
Myself included. I believe that one of the things that pushed him over the top was his "Because you'd be in jail" comment during the debate. Many people want to see those two in jail where they belong and not pursuing them has disappointed a lot of us. ________________________________________________________ "Great danger lies in the notion that we can reason with evil." Now in Florida |
I can't remember where it was posted - but I recall reading in the last day or two that "sources" indicated that the Hillary email investigation as going to be reopened. Did I imagine this or has anyone else seen this?

I believe in the principle of Due Process |
Who is to say the investigation of Clinton ever started, stopped or is on going? In politics, you should never believe anything unless and until it has been officially denied. As it is official DOJ policy never to reveal or discuss, confirm or deny, current investigations, why should we rely on "sources" when it hasn't even showed up on fake news? These sources are so anxious to get some play in the news, and reporters are so anxious to grab the brass ring that leads to Pulitzer, you probably could find "sources" to reveal that El Diablo flew an airplane which was set up so Hillary and Donald could initiate each other into the Mile High Club 45 years ago. Sheeesh! Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me. When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

What Happened? What Happened . . . That’s the title of Hillary’s Clinton’s new book being released by Simon & Schuster on Sept. 12. Seriously… I’m not making that title up. Stop laughing so hard, or you might pass out. "Some things are apparent. might be a short book (James Woods orig) early reports say the focus will be Russians, Russians, Comey, more Russians, men won't vote for a woman Chuck Schumer a few days ago: "When you lose to somebody who has 40% popularity, you don't blame other things -- Comey, Russia -- you blame yourself," "So what did we do wrong? I always get a hoot out these kinds of maps for the invalid representations they portray. That map shows counties where Trump won but you don't base an election on how much real estate a candidate captures. If you did the numbers would be Trump 95% and Hillary only 5% or something like that. Yes in terms of land conquered he kicked her ass but we don't count it that way.
