Lyndon Johnson was an old-style politician with all the old style political trickery, and he was something of a bully, but Hillary Clinton is a completely amoral sleazebag crook, and that's just for starters.

To borrow a line from Bum Philips, I don't know if you could say Lyndon Johnson was in a class all by himself, but it didn't take long to call the roll.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

I agree. The Greek dramatists knew what brings down tyrants. We still use their word. And Hillary's picture could appear beside the definition of hubris, as well as "pathological lying."

We can now say that things are truly spinning wildly out of control for the Dem's. Witness for yourself a clip from this morning's MSNBC line up a friend sent me the link to a little while ago.

Never thought I'd say it, but I actually enjoyed that clip (in a positive way) from MSNBC.

And that lady is 100% right. The Democrats nominated a woman under FBI investigation. The blame for this mess goes further than just Hillary herself, it also goes to the Democratic voter. Then again there was massive fraud involved there too, so really the blame is with the DNC machine and of course Hillary.

Certainly amusing, in a tragic kind of a way.

The chic in the flannel pajama shirt is a die-hard liberal. To see/hear her in that clip is astounding...

Hedley Lamarr: Sorry, I just remembered . . . I am armed.

Somebody put Mika on a suicide watch, she looked positively beaten! I will give her credit for admitting her flogging of the RNC nominating Trump was ill-advised and the DNC never should have nominated someone under FBI investigation...you think?

In the CNN clip, the guy with the black rimmed glasses' head was about to fucking come off. How dare them talk bad about HRC.

Love it, turning on themselves trying to hedge their bets.

That's Joe Scarborough who used to be a GOP congressman. Not sure of his thinking while in office, but right now I'd call him a severe RINO.

So the Judge on Foxnews said that since this is a criminal case, the FBI and DOJ cannot do anything about it if she's elected and have to wait until her term is over before they can start a case against her. Frown Frown

So is a criminal indictment of a sitting president ground for impeachment??

Once impeached, she can then be prosecuted and imprisoned.

Impeachment is for "high crimes and misdemeanors" which

quote:
.... covers allegations of misconduct peculiar to officials, such as perjury of oath, abuse of authority, bribery, intimidation, misuse of assets, failure to supervise, dereliction of duty, conduct unbecoming, and refusal to obey a lawful order.

Question.... does a past high crime count, or must it be one committed while in the present office?
