So why do I need solar glasses?

Can I not simply look in my I-phone as if I was taking a selfie video?

I've heard you should be careful doing that. It could actually damage your phone's camera.

It's gone up quite a bit in the last few days here in Utah, that's for sure.

And more stupidity...my wife just told me that someone on the "Ask Park City" Facebook page just asked if the Post Office will be open tomorrow. Roll Eyes

Where I live in NoCo, we are getting something like 95% eclipse.

That's good enough for me, I am not going to travel for it.

Drove from SEATAC down to Albany, Oregon today. Traffic was really not bad. It was quite a bit less than I expected. Tomorrow is probably going to be pandemonium trying to get home, though. We'll see. Hopefully we don't get home too late.

Headed into work, hope to be out by lunch. Traffic wasn't bad yesterday here, we'll see what today brings. Decent chance of rain for the first part of the day.

I'm not really into it - I'm gonna step out of work and take a look, but don't get the absolute hysteria over this. It's a shadow, people! Big Grin

You all know that after weeks of warnings on every form of media known to man, some idiot will make the news tomorrow because they looked at the eclipse with a telescope of binoculars (without shielded lenses) to get a better view.
