I don't know if it is just a coincidence, but the radio stations in my area have had a lot of static or have gone dead for a few minutes.

Had a plan to head north on a paved county road, pick up a US highway, and be within the band of totality in plenty of time. Nuh-uh. Coloradans are like grains of sand on the beach. I thought in less than 2 hours I would be at my destination. After 1 1/2 hours, we might have got 1/3 of the way. Bumper-to-bumper, jammed up well south of the U.S. highway. We came back home and will not see a total, but 97.5%.

Our investment banker said the bank branch in Jackson, WY would be closed today. Security concerns. They felt like LE would have their hands full today and the risk of bank robbery was high.

It's definitely darker and cooler here. 15 minutes till we hit our 91%.

we will be 96% covered. just took at work. its cool. not drive thousands of miles cool but cool.

The coverage just started here. We are not sitting outside watching the whole thing but plan on going out several times. Of course it is pretty hot here.

Starting here now. Sun blocked by clouds.

Party sunny, partly cloudy here. I've been observing with a pin-hole box I made a few minutes ago. It's about an hour until the maximum of 92% here.

Not a cloud in the sky. Got about 91% right now. Température dropped a lot. Noticeably darker. Pretty cool. Starting to feel the mimosas.

Well it came - 99% and went.

I checked it out with some special glasses and it was, well it was what I expected.

Back to work. Hope y'all enjoyed the show.

I'm surprised how light it is with just 10% of the sun not covered. I expected it to get darker but it is still cool.

I won't dress it up or down, that was amazing, and worth the drive to see it in totality. Just.... wow. No wonder this used to scare the shit out of the ancients.
