"What we're seeing here is a full-scale insurrection by media elites and other powers that be in the Democratic Party to subvert the democratic process. After all, we had 50 state primary elections in which voters gave Joe Biden all the necessary votes and delegates to be the Democratic nominee for President. Even now he dominates coverage as the knee pad press tries to do the "right thing".

I doubt it, coverage of this type for us will be ignored by us unless to point out the sham that was played on all.

Independents most likely won't care either.

Dems will try to focus on the whomever they trot out if Joe drops out ( still unlikely IMO).

Lastly, the media are Pavlovian with regards to Trump, they will never relegate him to secondary stories, they must attack, attack, attack.

It's amazing they've yet to learn this coverage always makes him stronger.

President Joe Biden’s 2024 reelection campaign ignored the worst storm of criticism the candidate has endured with a $50 million ad blitz announcement Friday.

Biden’s shaky debate performance has rattled the campaign to its core, leading to rare open dissent among some Democrats urging him to be replaced as the Democratic nominee. As the campaign tries to run damage control, it has further sought to assuage doubts by announcing a $50 million ad buy, following an equivalent buy last month.

On Friday, the campaign also announced an “aggressive travel schedule,” despite Biden’s earlier insistence to Democratic governors that he would work fewer hours and stop events after 8 p.m., the New York Times reported. He, Vice President Kamala Harris, first lady Jill Biden, and first gentleman Doug Emhoff will travel to every battleground state as part of this schedule.

The campaign added that the president “can also be expected to engage in frequent off-the-cuff moments over the course of the month, as he has consistently throughout this campaign.”

Some of the ads bought through the blitz will show on the season premiere of The Bachelorette and the 2024 Paris Olympics, as the campaign seeks to “capitalize on pivotal high viewership and political diverse audiences.”

Politico reported the campaign also plans to extend its canvassing program, with plans to knock on 3 million doors in two months. During the Republican National Convention in mid-July, Biden will speak at NAACP and UnidosUS conferences in Las Vegas.

The ads will be centered on battleground states and focus on abortion, democracy, and the economy.

The new blitz comes as part of an effort to calm a panicking Democratic Party, attempting to show the debate as an aberration. Biden assured his campaign staff in a Wednesday call that he wasn’t going anywhere.

“I’m the nominee of the Democratic Party,” he said, according to USA Today. “No one’s pushing me out. I’m not leaving. I’m in this race to the end, and we’re going to win because when Democrats unite, we always win.”

It does appear that Biden and his campaign are determined to stay in, and that there is a faction of leftist groups, politicians and the news media, who are determined to get Biden to withdraw.

The Dems have a real problem on their hands if Biden decides to stick. Even if they get a 25th Amendment push started, who's to say that the Republicans will play ball?

The Democratic convention is in six weeks. What an interesting four days that will be.

Yeah, if they try to invoke the 25th Amendment, then there will be an investigation which would show ALL the incidents, both in camera view and behind closed doors with dates and times, where Bidet visited LaLa Land..........with videos upon videos of these same "witnesses" saying the exact opposite. The best thing the Republicans could do is stand back with just an occasional stir, to keep the destruction going.

If Old Joe was removed via 25th Amendment, then there would be overwhelming evidence to impeach/indict most of the senior administration staff, with true charges of insurrection and treason against the United States.

I was also considering the 25th ammendment thing... I also don't see it happening for some of the same reasons mentioned by jsbcody.

But mostly because I'd hope the GOP would just sit back with their bucket of popcorn and say "nah, Joe is your guy".
