The Office of Environmental Justice

Wtf is this? Sounds like the weaponized arm of the EPA.

Official Web Site

Looks like this office got fired up under this administration. It gives me a warm fuzzy thinking about all the good they're doing Roll Eyes

From the site:
quote:

The Office of Environmental Justice (OEJ) engages all Justice Department bureaus, components, and offices in the collective pursuit of environmental justice. The mission of OEJ is to protect overburdened and underserved communities from the harm caused by environmental crimes, pollution, and climate change. The Office:

* Serves as the central hub to implement the Department of Justice’s Comprehensive Environmental Justice Enforcement Strategy;
* Builds partnerships with community advocates; and
* Promotes fair and equal treatment and meaningful involvement of all people in environmental decision-making process.

OEJ was established within the Environment and Natural Resources Division on May 5, 2022.

What a load of crap. Just what we need more on the payroll doing the Administrations bidding. How will it ever end? Boston Tea Party circa 202??

Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., encouraged Vice President Kamala Harris to "fulfill" her "constitutional duty" by presiding over the upcoming Senate impeachment trial of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

The House last week voted to impeach Mayorkas 214-213. The next phase is a trial in the Senate, where the Democrat-led chamber is expected to quickly dispose of the case and exonerate Mayorkas.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said in a statement last week that Senate President Pro Tempore Patty Murray, D-Wash., would preside over the trial.

But in a letter to Harris on Tuesday, Scott called on the vice president to perform the duties.

"As Vice President, the Constitution directs that you also serve as the presiding officer of the U.S. Senate," Scott wrote. "Although Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has publicly stated he intends for President Pro Tempore Patty Murray to preside over the upcoming impeachment trial of Secretary Mayorkas, I write to encourage and invite you to fulfill your constitutional duty to serve as the presiding officer of Secretary Mayorkas's impeachment trial."

Scott reminded Harris that President Joe Biden appointed her as the "border czar" three years ago.

"In accepting that appointment, you acknowledged a need 'to deal with the root causes' of the flows of illegal immigration across our southern border," Scott wrote. "As such, you should be keenly interested in learning whether a high-ranking member of your administration is one of those 'root causes' through his willful and persistent refusal to enforce our country's immigration laws, frustrating the very core function of your role as President Biden’s 'border czar.'"

House Republicans impeached Mayorkas on two articles: willful and systemic refusal to comply with the law regarding immigration and border security, and for breach of public trust regarding the state of the southern border.

No Democrats voted to impeach and three Republicans voted against.

House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., assigned 11 impeachment managers to present the case before the Senate. The House is expected to deliver the charges Feb. 28.

^^^^^^^ Dog and pony show. I'd bet a paycheck that not one democrat will vote to convict. Not one.

That's not a hard bet. Not a single democrat voted to impeach either. Democrats stick by their own almost universally.

While we are at it, can we give a seat at the table to the Thrash Metal community? I believe they are equally misunderstood.

For a brief time-- back when MTV actually played music videos-- they did a recurring "The Week in LAME!" segment, about 30 second long, "...brought to you by the metalheads of America." They would pronounce "lameness" on whatever was lame that week. The USSR, for example. "LAME!!" AIDS? "LAAAAMMMMEEEE!"
Looking back, they were pretty much spot-on, every time.

Bidens’ dog, Commander, bit Secret Service personnel in at least 24 incidents, records show

https://www.yahoo.com/news/bid...ecret-220048507.html

Commander Biden, President Joe Biden’s family dog, bit US Secret Service personnel in at least 24 incidents at the White House and other locations, according to new internal USSS documents obtained by CNN.

That number does not include additional incidents CNN has previously reported involving executive residence staff and other White House workers. But the new documents, obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request, reveal the extent to which the situation had become a serious workplace issue for the hundreds of staff supporting White House operations, and how agency personnel changed their habits to avoid being injured by the German shepherd.

“The recent dog bites have challenged us to adjust our operational tactics when Commander is present – please give lots of room,” an unnamed assistant special agent in charge of USSS’ Presidential Protective Division wrote to their team in a June 2023 email, warning that agents “must be creative to ensure our own personal safety.”

Even with the edits, in many individual clips, FJB borders on losing it, slight stammers and incipient slurring.

It's like watching him walk up stairs, disaster pends. We will have reached rock bottom when vid of him walking up to AF One will have as many edits as there are stairs.

President Biden's Transfer of Other People's Debts To You

Authored by Rob Natelson via The Epoch Times

“A rage ... for an abolition of debts ... or for any other improper or wicked project ....”

- James Madison, Federalist No. 10

The courts, in the exercise of what is called “equity jurisdiction,” have long excused borrowers from obligations incurred through fraud, duress, and other forms of creditor unfairness.

In addition, federal bankruptcy laws (authorized in the Constitution by Article I, Section 8, Clause 4) offer a path to safety for debtors who get in over their heads.
President Joe Biden speaks in Culver City, Calif., on Feb. 21, 2024. (John Fredricks/The Epoch Times)

President Joe Biden’s “student loan forgiveness” measures qualify as neither. Instead, they are classic examples of what James Madison called an “improper or wicked project.”

Under the president’s program, no debtor will have to declare bankruptcy. And far from being victims, they already have enjoyed the benefit of very favorable loan terms at taxpayer expense. The borrowers spent the money for what both they and the federal government thought was a good purpose.

Still, you and I will have to pay their bills.
........

Conclusion

History demonstrates that attempts to “cure” a problem by exceeding the federal government’s constitutional powers generally lead to more and worse problems. The federal student loan program is a good example.

In an attempt to make college more affordable, the program has had precisely the opposite effect: The flood of federal money has greatly inflated the cost of tuition. It also has created a generation of debtors, and added billions to the national debt.

Now the president’s administration of the student loan program threatens to victimize hundreds of millions of innocent people by imposing on them an obligation they did not incur—and from which they in no way benefitted.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Please, take a seat and a deep breath.
"FJB" is not a pejorative, it's a brag.

Biden, 81, says the key to his marriage is 'good sex': How Joe infuriates Jill, his wife of 47 years, with VERY risqué joke to staff about their private life (even though they aren't shy about PDA)

(please take into account, Biden is a known braggart and liar)
