Yet, people with good credit will be punished by higher mortgage rates and have to pay a higher down payment. Yes, let’s punish those that have paid their bills on time and managed their money well. That is exactly what it is. It isn’t really even the democrat idea of taking from the rich to give to the poor. It is take from people with good credit to give to those with bad credit. There are people who don’t make a lot of money but pay their bills and have good credit who will now be punished for being responsible. Such a warped mindset!
