I live in a fairly liberal area and thus know a few Democrats. None of them have expressed a like of Biden. A few have been very vocal in their dislike of him as a candidate. Most will still vote for him but there are some that will not.

The Dems have a problem. Their party is split between the new very far left ones that think Biden isn't enough. Then you have the others. They all may dislike Trump but they also dislike Biden. All these riots, defunding the police and rising crime is making some rethink what is best for them.

They may want to be on the side of BLM and want changes in policing but they also want to be safe. Protest are fine but the push to riot, burn down and destroy business only every time resonates with only a small amount of people. They are pushing(scaring) some of there party away.

I live in a quite liberal area of CA and am surprised at people I know, who I thought were decent, honorable people, who are "rid'n with Biden". They blame Trump for the riots, the virus, excessive gov't spending, etc. I can't figure out the source of their disconnect.

I don't think it's "extreme stupidity".
I think they are ill informed or at least uninformed. It's mostly because they only get news/info from MSM CNBC CNN or social media. Everyone they know, everyone they listen to says something like "Orange Man Bad".

I know an old woman, late 80's, who has her TV on all the time. She's not stupid; she's being brainwashed. She likes Rachel Maddow.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."
-- Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Good point Chellim.

But there is no doubt that it is much more difficult to brainwash or manipulate an intelligent person.

We're talking about people in the leftist Bay Area. Many are waaay past "uninformed". Because "informing" them will not change a damn thing.

Yeah, and maybe a bunch of them assume Trump's going to win anyway or that "it's somebody else's job" to worry about whether Biden actually gets elected. Either way, they might as well do the socially popular thing. I mean, what's the point of living there if you don't get invited to the parties?

Actually, based on my experience, attempting to educate or inform them on anything will only make them angry and aggressive. These people are waaaaaaaaaay past rational at this point.

Hey what do ya know. They found something Ole Joe still has the mental capacity to accomplish...kinda...delivering pizza. Roll Eyes

I wonder if we could trade 1 for 1 Venezuelan immigrants like the one in Parabellum's video ad for our reject Leftists. 1 for 1 is a decent ratio. Then North American Leftists can immediately enjoy their socialist utopia and the freedom loving Venezuelans can come and enjoy a life of self sufficiency and self determination. I welcome people like the woman in the video. Come and come legally.

Rick Snyder, the Ex-Governor and a Republican who lost to Whitmer after the Flint water fiasco, just came out in support of Biden.

Perhaps, but you'll notice that the upshot is that no one wants Snyder.

He didn't lose to Whitmer. He didn't run. He was term-limited.

He probably would have lost, had he run, though. Due to the Flint Water fiasco, he left the office somewhat in disgrace.

That I find surprising, him also being a businessman, and more than a little disappointing Frown I liked Snyder.

Snyder's endorsement of Biden will go along way....for helping Trump! After his crap with the gas tax being term limited made no differance, he never would have been re elected.
