Not conspiracy theory. I call it common sense. The plane just happens to go down the same night that Iran attacks us, expecting American planes to overfly their country or missiles.

Not to mention engine fires on a plane usually don’t cause the plane to crash. Couple that with Iran saying the black box data will not be released. Pretty obvious they fucked up.

Maybe the earthquake caused the plane crash.

Yes, but let Russia and the Ukraine get involved...…...if Iran did shoot it down, Russia will unleash a serious attack on them and we won't be spending the money or look bad. Russia is a lot less diplomatic when it comes to things like that then we are.

At this point Trump should sit back and watch the fireworks between Russia and Iran, but have all of our Military at the ready...….

Not untrue. But, man, that's a heck of a coincidence to happen on that night just an hour or two after the missile attack.

“Ukraine International is a well-established private airline with a very good safety record. The Tehran crash is its first such accident since it was founded in 1992.”

And
“Ukraine International Airlines has suspended flights to Tehran indefinitely. The airline said that the Boeing 737-800 was built in 2016 and had its last scheduled maintenance on Monday.”. Link

Ukraine Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko said there were 82 Iranians, 63 Canadians and 11 Ukrainians on board, along with 10 Swedish, four Afghan, three German and three British citizens.

Airline officials said most of the passengers were en route to the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv. Passengers on the flight are often Iranian students returning to Ukraine after the winter holidays or Iranian-Canadians on their way to Toronto.

That statement sounds to me like saying:
"I'm not saying it was shot down... but it was shot down."
... and the video didn't look like "engine failure".

Daily Mail reporting that Iran had launched 22 Fatteh-110 and Qaim-1 ballistic missiles yesterday.

Looks like a few failed to explode and the rest were purposefully not aimed to kill troops or our air defense artillery took them out.

Ayatollah says damp squib revenge raid for Soleimani's assassination is 'not enough' after Iran ineffectually fires 22 ballistic missiles at two US bases in Iraq - but fails to kill anyone

It would be great to see Iran remain indignant and see Russian troops amass at the border.

Call from Trump: How can we help?

Someone please put autotune on this! Either that or let the guys at bad lip reading have a go at it.
If you watch it with the sound off you'd think it was a rap video with all the flailing and bouncing.

That black box will have to be analyzed with that number of Canadians, Swedes, Germans and Brits on the plane.

Iran requires the moderating influences of those countries, some of whom are signatories to the Nuclear Deal, to gain concessions from the west, and America. Those concessions will disappear if it denies those countries' access to the records of that flight, and tries to hide the fact that it shot that airliner down.

It sucks to be Iran today. They are in a truly shitty position. Dead general, psycho spiritual leader caught on tape, ineffective "massive retaliation" strike, shot down Ukrainian plane, restless population, pissed off neighbors, pissed off "soft" western countries, and a Trump with a big stick and a willingness to use it.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei subsequently described the attacks as a 'slap in the face of America' though admitted they were 'not enough' to avenge Soleimani.

In a televised address he promised Iranians that the true revenge would be kicking US forces out of the Middle East altogether, but did not announce any further strikes.

Foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif tweeted that the attack had 'concluded' while praising Iran's 'proportionate' response, adding: 'We do not seek escalation or war.'

Im reading this as, they want to talk shit about the police, while aggressively confronting a policeman with a squirt gun?

I think Iran had to launch the missles to appease their general population and show that their leaders are strong. Their media is so sensored that the general population probably has no idea that the missles didn't hit anything and they could've told the people that they blew up a bunch of American bases and so forth to show strength. When they launched missles at Saudi Arabia, those all hit their targets. So these were sent purposefully into the desert.

Iran is very stupid in several aspects, they could've said the black box couldn't be found or that it was destroyed in the crash. BUT, saying that they are not releasing it, tells everyone that they do in fact have it.

It will be very interesting to see how this plays out. Despite the amount of Canadians on board, I highly doubt Canada will do anything militarily offensive to Iran. I do think Ukraine and Russia are itching at the bit to kick some Iranian ass.

Why would Russia attack Iran for shooting down a Ukrainian aircraft?
Russia has attacked Ukraine conventionally and with cyber warfare many times itself.

But I agree that when a bunch of trigger-happy people are manning AA missiles and expecting to be attacked themselves at any moment, the likelihood of a cargo door’s blowing off coincidentally at the same time is … slim, to say the least. And of course, it wouldn’t be the first time that a bunch of bozos shot down a commercial airliner by mistake.

This was a face-saving move by the Iranians, I doubt if there will be any more missile launches.

They are however in deep doo-doo over this Ukrainian plane thing. Looks like someone had an itchy trigger finger with their SAM's in that area.

Because Russia will use any reason to attack if they want to attack someone. Also the former Soviet states, even when enemies, tend to align together when they have a common enemy.

I would guess Russia's primary interest is in eliminating Iran's influence in Syria.
