Wow, quite generous! I will pass to allow more deserving members a better chance, but as a veteran (peacetime), I applaud you! You are a good person.

As a USN sailor, I want to express my admiration for your generosity. But I'm out of this karma as I'm in CA.

olfuzzy, thanks for the pics; it brought back memories. I worked on both the Guardfish and the Seawolf at Mare Island shipyard after my stint in the Navy.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Please count me in. I was in the 3d Infantry Division (Rock of the Marne) when it was still in Germany. Held a slice of Bavaria centered on Wurzburg, which is essentially where it stopped moving at the end of WWII. I was stationed variously at Schweinfurt (that Schweinfurt, the ball bearing place), and just outside of Ansbach.

Beautiful place, in peacetime...

Very generous, and thank you for your kindness.

I was initially in the Comm Flight before becoming the Security Police Commander (123 WSSF) for the KyANG during your time there. You worked for Nick Palumo and Madeleine Travis in the Services section of the Combat Support Squadron.

If permissible, I'd like to enter for my daughter. She owns 4 handguns, but no AR. This weekend she had to qualify again with an issue M16. Though, they did issue her an M4 when she went to Iraq.
