Loretta Lynch talks to Lester Holt before Comey book release

James Comey will be in the headlines the week of April 15 when he gives a series of interviews for his book “A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies and Leadership.”

Getting out in front of Comey will be former Attorney General Loretta Lynch. She has given an interview that will air Monday on “NBC Nightly News With Lester Holt.”

Lynch will discuss her relationship with Comey and her controversial meeting with former President Bill Clinton on a tarmac during the 2016 campaign. She and Clinton said the meeting was a coincidence.

But Comey has said the meeting prompted him to go public about the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.

Lynch could discuss how Comey handled that investigation and whether it affected the outcome of the presidential election.

She will talk about how the Trump administration is handling civil rights issues, NBC News said.

Is Joe misinformed about how Congressional subpoenas are enforced, by having DOJ go to court for an order, or am I?

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

I realize that many are following all the issues involving this Administration. In doing so, let's not ever forget the dark times before Trump won. Let's not forget that we the people spoke and voted, and if ever there was a "Man in the Arena" Trump was it.

F.B.I. Raids Office of Trump’s Longtime Lawyer Michael Cohen

The F.B.I. on Monday raided the office of President Trump’s longtime personal lawyer, Michael D. Cohen, seizing records related to several topics including payments to a pornographic-film actress.

Federal prosecutors in Manhattan obtained the search warrant after receiving a referral from the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, according to Mr. Cohen’s lawyer, who called the search “completely inappropriate and unnecessary.” The search does not appear to be directly related to Mr. Mueller’s investigation, but likely resulted from information he had uncovered and gave to prosecutors in New York.

“Today the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York executed a series of search warrants and seized the privileged communications between my client, Michael Cohen, and his clients,” said Stephen Ryan, his lawyer. “I have been advised by federal prosecutors that the New York action is, in part, a referral by the Office of Special Counsel, Robert Mueller.”

Mr. Cohen plays a role in aspects of the special counsel’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. He also recently said he paid $130,000 to a pornographic-film actress, Stephanie Clifford, who said she had an affair with Mr. Trump. Ms. Clifford is known as Stormy Daniels.

Mr. Ryan said Mr. Cohen has cooperated with authorities and turned over thousands of documents to congressional investigators looking into Russian election meddling.

The payments to Ms. Clifford are only one of many topics being investigated, according to a person briefed on the search. The F.B.I. also seized emails, tax documents and business records, the person said.

What the hell does that have to do with Russian collusion? Mueller is out of control here and someone needs to yank on his chain, hard.

So basically the Democrats used the investigation as cover to gain access to privileged information to use against him in the future.

The FBI may never regain it's credibility and sense of trust with a large portion of the population.

Think how Hillary Clinton and her lawyers were treated w kid clothes.

We need to stop all the stalling and hiding behind claims of national security.

Mueller brought information involving Cohen to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who decided that the matter should be handled by the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York rather than by Mueller’s team, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Under Justice Department regulations, Mueller is required to consult with Rosenstein about how to handle evidence and matters that fall outside his jurisdiction and authority. Mueller is investigating Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential campaign, whether anyone close to Trump colluded in it and whether Trump sought to obstruct justice.

I'll tell you what I'd do if I were President Trump- I'd bide my time until the midterms, and if the Republicans make gains in the House and the Senate, I'd boot that son of a bitch Mueller so far out of Washington, he'd go into low Earth orbit. My God. Enough is enough. This has moved far past any reason.

Mueller has nothing and he's doing everything he can to try to disgrace the President. This is shameful.

It's possible that Mueller is trying to goad Trump into firing him, believing that the Democrats and their propaganda arm, the MSM, can unleash an onslaught of "outrage" that will turn the midterms their way overwhelmingly.
