Not knowing if they poly you took a month ago was on the date of your grandmothers funeral or not sunk her for me.

The examiner was a fucking kitten, I wasn't expecting a hugging match but for shits sake your job is to shake out the truth, cut to the chase and stop trying to lay ground before you nuke it.

Brett better come out swinging.

With deference to the more educated, this woman is a teacher and has a PhD, yet comes off as the most meek of individuals, this is a show, nothing more.

The GOP should never have agreed to the 5 minutes. It would have been better if she had refused to show up. We'll see what happens, but this puts a lot of pressure on a man to act outside of his calm and reserved manner. He can't follow that with how he responded to questions in the Fox interview.

Where was the party
People weren't there
She left the party and doesn't know how she got home? (It was 8 miles straight line, about a 2-3 hour walk)
Key details about the evening are missing or inconsistent

I hope Kavanaugh details all the accusations (and lack of actions) in a time lime based reply.

And then closes that unsubstantiated accusations are not sufficient to press charges or prosecute an accused person.

I watched a few minutes on NBC News and was surprised to hear someone saying Ford had so many holes and inconsistencies in her testimony. Basically that the questioner chipped away at her enough to cause doubted . Plus that Ford agreed the setting was not conducive to getting at the truth. Plus she never submitted to a forensic exam. Only a polygraph with two questions.

It may have been Megan Kelly. Edit: it was.

I believe Ford has been coerced and convinced it was Kavanaugh. She is unstable enough. I think only two polygraph questions were asked because there was much to hide.

Chris Wallace on Fox News seems in love with her and that she has the credibility of a saint. Roll Eyes

I will wait tonight to get Laura's take on that.

Yeah, Chris Wallace has been intolerable to listen to throughout this.

I'm looking forward to hearing Judge Kavanaugh

Lindsey Graham has just ripped the dems a new asshole. We know nothing more now than we did when she started and we will know nothing more after Kavanaugh says his part. It's a draw let's vote and let the chips fall where they may.

What is hosting Google interns? Early on when she was asked about having a second front door installed during a remodel because she was so fearful, she said it worked out because they host Google interns. I have no idea what that is but it sounds like having strangers into your home, male or female. That doesn't seem like something a sexual assault victim would be comfortable with.

Why does that idiot Blumenthal want a bunch more testimony and investigations? At least 46 of the democrats made up their mind on voting no before they knew who the nominee was. Stalling I guess.

I didn't watch. I was tasked with a zoo trip with the grandchildren. Sounds like my time was more productive.

I would have lost my breakfast listening to the dim love fest.

I hope DiFi suffers greatly for this transgression. Of course, she won't be re-elected, a true socialist will take her place.

It is simply a delay tactic. The long shot hope is to delay past the mid-term. They know if it goes to a vote before that that the Republicans will likely vote him to the position.

Kavanaugh is going to have give a firm and stinging intellectual beat down to Booker, Harris and Klobuchar and the others. The grandstanding is going to be over the top disgusting.

I really liked Rachael Mitchell. I know that opinion is going to be wide ranging, but I thought she was effective. Though that effectiveness was a bit nuanced.

in an interview w the man who gave the polygraph, he said only 2 questions is standard in poly for a victim

https://twitter.com/WiredSourc.../1045156592520482816

"You don't give polygraph tests to victims, you represent victims, you believe them unless you have some corroborating evidence you don't believe."

What is that kind of polygraph worth, when the other 4 people at the "party" don't remember it ?
