I may be in the minority here, but IMO, the week delay was a blessing in disguise. We got to dig a little deeper into the Feinstein train, including Monica McLean. And the protesters, the left showing their true colors, the extra week basically gave the Democrats more rope to hang themselves.

Good point oddball. The extra week worked to our benefit!

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

I'm guessing those earlier reported arrest numbers are going to go up.

Acceding to the Dem’s demand of a further FBI review, which he knew would help advance Kavanaugh’s confirmation.

It turns out that many of these guys aren’t as dumb and venal as some make them out to be. Maybe they should take back many of the mean things they’ve been saying, and writing.

I have long thought that McConnell especially has been dealt a poor hand, very thin majority and inexplicably unreliable cats to herd in many instances, and has been remarkably effective with it.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

But was that his intent? No, I believe he was giving hand jobs to his progressive boyfriends for more time to come up with "the mother of all accusations"

It failed and he ran away screaming.

It worked out and I am thankful. But that was not the intent.

Hopefully the butt eater will wash out and become just another ineffectual leader in some private organization.

Maybe he can become twitter CEO for Musk.
