Fair point.

I'm torn, I guess.

If we're taking about two average Joes and Janes in Anytown, USA, sure. But at this level? I dunno.

It's hard to comprehend the massive attack the DEMs are executing against Brett Kavanaugh

Here is a letter from Grassley to DEM Sen Coons

Fox is now reporting that letters containing ricin were sent to the Pentagon and also to the White House, addressed to President Trump. The letter did not make it into the White House.

This is beyond just ugly now....

That picture says a great deal more about Feinstein than just this circumstance with Kavanaugh. Quite revealing.

What kind of Flake would do such a thing?

We need to drop a 55 gallon drum of Head & Shoulders on the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Four dentists in Las Vegas were charged by a woman with gang rape. Video, however, showed that her claims were completely fabricated, and all charges were dropped.

So apparently women CAN lie about such things.

From the article:

"We knew when the facts came out that the vicious allegations would be exposed as lies and our good names would be cleared. We want to thank our families, friends and lawyers for sticking by us through this horrific ordeal.'

They also added a warning about women who were 'willing to use the (#MeToo) movement for their own selfish motives and remember that innocent until proven guilty is one of our country's bedrock principles.'

Jeff Flake = Total Flake

Jeff Flake: ‘We Can’t Have That on the Court’

The Arizona senator called Brett Kavanaugh’s interactions with lawmakers at a hearing last week “sharp and partisan.”

https://www.theatlantic.com/po...ee-kavanaugh/571915/

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."
-- Justice Janice Rogers Brown

This is so absurd. What little, flimsy, so-called "evidence" they have, they aren't even releasing. We are just supposed to trust them. Roll Eyes

It doesn't have to make sense. The idea is to simply sling enough of their phony shit on the man's reputation, he'll withdraw. But, he hasn't done so. Apparently, they're shocked by this.
When Kavanaugh pushes back and defends himself in a fury, they behave as if a person is supposed to show utter dispassion in the face of character assassination . After all, that's exactly how they would handle it, right? Of course- pillars of stoicism they would be. Roll Eyes

This shameful episode has seeped into the culture, and unlike much of the significant political drama that plays out in Washington, this travesty is being seen by so many people who are otherwise uninterested in politics in any serious way. My hope- just as Lindsey Graham said- is that the American people see through this farce.

There only "evidence" that matters is the 4 people that were supposed to be in the house the night of the alleged assault, and none of them has corroborated her story. Case closed. Anything else is fucking BS. Oh wait, they found an eyewitness who was peeking through the window that night and saw everything. Roll Eyes
