Nope, I was watching it live when it came up. She was truly dumbfounded when Grassley told her he offered to bring the whole show to her. She sat back, looked confused for a second then looked over to her lawyer with a wtf look on her face then sputtered out, "I wasn't aware of that.". ______________________________ “I'd like to know why well-educated idiots keep apologizing for lazy and complaining people who think the world owes them a living.” ― John Wayne

http://www.foxnews.com/politic...ing-in-disguise.html Before heading to West Virginia on Saturday for a political rally, President Trump expressed confidence in Kavanaugh. "I would expect it's going to turn out very well for the judge," he said. "There's never been anybody that's been looked at like Judge Kavanaugh." Trump said he had no backup plan concerning his nomination, and didn't need one. The president also voiced confidence in the investigative process. "The FBI I believe is doing a really great job," he said. They have been all over already. They have free rein. They're going to do whatever they have to do, whatever it is they do. They'll be doing things that we've never even thought of, and hopefully at the conclusion everything will be fine." In the added inquiry, which he expects to take less than a week, Trump said there might be a blessing in disguise," exposing Democrats' machinations over the past several days. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx "They have been all over already" I hope that means what it sounds like

Considering how wacky or insubstantial the accusations have been by the "accusers" following Ford, I'm thinking they may not be able to find anyone who could pass the laugh test. And, of course, the more desperate they seem, the less effective they look.

this was a minor accuser. But the message is important "Grassley asked the FBI and Justice Department for a criminal review of the statements." https://www.kcci.com/article/b...den-tribute/23509824 The Senate Judiciary Committee's chairman has referred a "false statements" issue to the FBI about a 1985 sexual assault allegation. It related to an allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. The individual claimed the incident happened in Rhode Island on a boat. It's illegal to make false and fraudulent statements to congressional investigators and obstruct committee investigations. U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley, the committee chairman, said in a Saturday letter that, while many of the individuals have acted in good faith about information related to allegations against Kavanaugh, "It appears some have not." "The Committee is grateful to citizens who come forward with relevant information in good faith, even if they are not one hundred percent sure about what they know," the letter said. "But when individuals provide fabricated allegations to the Committee, diverting Committee resources, during time-sensitive investigations, it materially impedes our work." The accuser said a close acquaintance of his was assaulted, and the committee interviewed him, but he later recanted, according to the committee letter. Grassley asked the FBI and Justice Department for a criminal review of the statements. xxxxxxxxxxxxxx I think this would be the 5th one in this list

Wonder if Kavanaugh can take the FBI report, go to civil court and sue for slander. Might be a good chance to snag a certain GoFundMe account. .

That rally was great. Got to watch the whole thing while hitting the ship's gym. I tell ya', there's nothing better to lift your spirits about the country and the state of things than watching President Trump doing his thing in front of thousands of patriots. ~Alan Acta Non Verba NRA Life Member (Patron) God, Family, Guns, Country Men will fight and die to protect women... because women protect everything else. ~Andrew Klavan

Paul Sperry tweets: FBI to also interview Ford's ex-boyfriend Brian Merrick, Ford's ex-classmate Lisa Everett and Kavanaugh's best friend Donny Urgo, in addition to Mark Judge, among others Kavanaugh accuser and Yale classmate Debbie Ramirez's attorneys have refused 7 requests for cooperation from the Senate Judiciary Committee In a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee, Dabney Friedrich, who dated Judge Kavanaugh in 1998, denied that Kavanaugh ever shoved her against a wall, and she called the allegation (from an anonymous Colorado resident) "offensive and absurd."

Damn, there's my retirement plan! A few years back I was at a conference in San Francisco and went out to eat at a higher end restaurant downtown I think it was...but I'm not sure. Anyway, at one point I got up to go to the bathroom and upon exiting the can I ran into Diane Feinstein who pushed me against the wall and grabbed my crotch. She said, "If you tell anyone I'll ruin you." I was scared to death! I don't remember if anyone else witnessed it, but it happened! Now. How do I start a Gofundme account? ________________________________________________________ "Great danger lies in the notion that we can reason with evil." Doug Patton.

The White House has instructed the FBI to question two women who have alleged sexual misconduct by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. But the parameters of the new and limited FBI probe don’t include interviewing Julie Swetnick, a third accuser who alleged this week that he was at a party decades ago where she was gang-raped, according to a report on Saturday in The Wall Street Journal. The focus on the first two sets of accusations suggests that the White House doesn’t consider the latter accuser's claims credible, people familiar with the instructions told The Journal. "If true, this is outrageous," her lawyer, Michael Avenatti, tweeted Saturday afternoon. "Why are Trump and his cronies in the Senate trying to prevent the American people from learning the truth? Why do they insist on muzzling women with information submitted under penalty of perjury? Why Ramirez but not my client?" Avenatti also represents Stormy Daniels, an adult film star who has alleged she had a sexual encounter with Donald Trump back in 2006. “The scope and duration has been set by the Senate," Raj Shah, a White House spokesman, told Fox News. "The White House is letting the FBI agents do what they are trained to do.” According to The Journal, Swetnick has recorded a TV interview to be aired Sunday, the first woman making accusations against the Supreme Court nominee to do so. NBC’s “Morning Joe” on Thursday aired a clip of her interview with John Heilemann of Showtime’s “The Circus,” in which Ms. Swetnick called for an investigation into the allegations against Judge Kavanaugh. On Friday, Republican Sen. Jeff Flake insisted that the FBI be allowed up to a week to investigate allegations against Kavanaugh before the full Senate weighs in on confirmation. President Trump subsequently ordered the FBI to undertake a “supplemental investigation” to Kavanaugh’s routine background check that would be limited to credible allegations of sexual assault. In remarks he made Saturday before heading to a MAGA rally in West Virginia, Trump said the investigation was expected to be concluded within a week's time. and conclude in less than a week. He said the bureau, which has already begun its inquiry, had "free rein," and expressed confidence in the process and his nominee. "I would expect it's going to turn out very well for the judge," Trump said. "There's never been anybody that's been looked at like Judge Kavanaugh." Link Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me. When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

A public payoff right before everyone's eyes. Pretty ingenious actually. Promise someone that "if you do this for us, we'll make you rich," and then make that person a victim in front of the entire nation, set up a GoFundMe campaign for said "victim," and then presto...she's rich!
