Everything I was thinking is wrong, i deleted my ignorant postin my new opinion . The corporate board and ceo are woke and are denying the heritage of all Americans. I just didn’t think it through deeply enough. All of the artifacts were a part of every previous generation. Of course, it’s their decision. After all, it’s just a restaurant. I see now that Cracker Barrel is attempting to erase anything that doesn’t presently recognize D E I. Our history and the accompanying artifacts were not equal. Yes, they were diverse but not in the way the woke culture is coloring the world. Inclusion? What does that even mean . I loved the artifacts in the walls. I love history. I relish seeing the some of the old candies, beverages and toys from my childhood . Oh well. It’s their business . Most restaurants I frequent are little greasy spoons with little decor. I recall when Red Lobster here in Cedar Rapids had the great idea that seemingly all LG waiters was a great idea some years back. Then Aids hit and amazingly a lot of local folks preferred to not have those thumbs on their plates. Not that one couldn't get some sort of disease from a straight person but folks were not sure about what was going on medically at that time. Pretty much killed their business. Can't figure out why that would have been... Anyway there was a very serious fire in the restaurant which closed it for about two years which terminated recall rights of all employees.
