they seem to be doing well here in VA,
we have a couple w/in 10 miles of us, and frequent one 5 or 6 times a year,
and when traveling overnight often hit one for breakfast,

breakfast food is good, the rest is hit or miss,


wife is still upset the got rid of the turkey sausage patties,

Frankly, I think they've gone too far.

Did that a long time ago. Went to Cracker Barrel once back in the 90’s and the service and food were lousy and never went back.

Their breakfast used to be good though a bit pricey. Since the Wu Flu it's taken a nosedive. Not worth the price any longer.

Nah, you’re thinking unnecessarily too deep. There’s no “something else” there. It’s just what we see. Woke shit and DIE push that caught conservatives’ attention. It’s the same with so many others (Gillette, Yeti, Benchmade, Bud Light, Levi’s, etc.) in recent years that made national news.

I recall when Red Lobster here in Cedar Rapids had the great idea that seemingly all LG waiters was a great idea some years back. Then Aids hit and amazingly a lot of local folks preferred to not have those thumbs on their plates. Not that one couldn't get some sort of disease from a straight person but folks were not sure about what was going on medically at that time. Pretty much killed their business. Can't figure out why that would have been... Anyway there was a very serious fire in the restaurant which closed it for about two years which terminated recall rights of all employees. How convenient was that?

FWIW, there were signs in the local Barrels at the entrance talking about how they welcomed all people of color,

stemmed from a lawsuit in the early 2000's,


running joke in this area was they were going to be Blacker Barrel,
