The only thing I have learned during this fiasco is that CB is eat up with LGBTQ2+ BS for almost 20 years and I had zero idea. I haven't darkened the door of one for at least a dozen years. I make most of the stuff they sell at home and it is 1000 times better when I do.

WHO NEEDS 'EM?

I think they are in complete panic mode now with reports from employees coming in that they were ordered to stop making fresh biscuits all day as needed and instead make a huge batch and freeze and reheat them and a lot of the scratch cooking went away to pre-prepped meals that are microwaved then served.

Until they fix all that, they're still doomed.

The rebrand/remodel effort was simply the clarion-call that CB had deeper problems.
* Their corporate DEI policies are crap and the rainbow painted rocking chairs was insight to the internal rot years ago
* The overall food quality is poor and continued to be for over a decade
* If the food was good, then a rebrand would've gone on without a hitch

^^ corsair, you sum it up well.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."
-- Justice Janice Rogers Brown

"The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth."

I used to enjoy having breakfast at Cracker Barrel. Sadly, the one close to my house closed years ago.

There are still a couple of nice breakfast places, some of them Mom and Pop places, so it was easy to move on.

... stirred anti-clockwise.

...or a bar of soap.

I'd say that maybe he's not getting enough dick, but then there's no such thing as enough dick for that mincing prancer.

Yep, for the rest of 2025 since this thread started and this year, the stock share price was in the $20-30 range, less than half right before the SHTF.

What goes on in the ivory towers of the corporate boardroom world is over my head, but I'd guess she was given a sinecure - still paid but stripped of power, put in a "rubber room", if you will - until some contract ran out the clock, the board found the courage to actually fire her, somebody else can be found, whatever. Who knows.
