Million Dollar Spaghetti

Didn't have spaghetti so I used bucatini, and I subbed Italian sausage for the burger.

It was really good. Quite rich, but really good. I've got a shit ton of leftovers to toss in the freezer too.

Cast iron roast yard bird on a bed of new potatoes, carrots, parsnips and celery. Much better than it looks!

#1 it looks amazing! #2 I totally forgot I bought a whole chicken two days ago that I need to make. I was super busy today and picked up Vietnamese to-go food, but tomorrow I will stuff and oven roast the chicken I bought.

Alfredo and meat sauce with tomato in one dish sounds interesting. I like the idea of subbing salsiccia for ground beef, too.

I may have to try that.

I made a spatchcock smoked chicken with roasted vegetables and cornbread stuffing. Came out great!

Looks excellent as usual Stormin'. Pretty much exactly what I did but it all went in the oven in the same pan at the same time. Spatchcocked and dry brined the bird for 24 hours first. Next time I'll cut the new potatoes smaller. The ones under the bird didn't get done. The bird was done in about 45 minutes.

I'll be making StorminNormin's Tuscan garlic shrimp here in a few minutes. A really wonderful dish and it's been awhile since I had it.

Gustofer, I tried your Million Dollar Spaghetti and it was pretty darned good. I also subbed ground salsiccia for the ground beef as I'm a big fan and we have access to really good fresh sausage.

It was definitely rich as you described. Additionally, after a post grocery store run for ingredients, I was informed that it's worthy of its name, Million Dollar Spaghetti, as a quart of heavy cream was $11 Eek

This recipe is a keeper.

Aw man, now I want some too! I made a Teriyaki shrimp stir-fry today totally of my own making, but didn’t take any pics. Nothing as good as that Tuscan Garlic Shrimp!

I don’t think I saw that recipe prior to now. I make a hell of a good meatball for spaghetti and meatballs so I wonder how the two would pair?

I really enjoy elevated ramen noodles. There is ramen noodles more on the soup side I have done a lot, and then lately I have been doing ramen noodles more on the saucy side. Either way I like them SPICY and use instant ramen noodles kits for both.

Tomorrow I plan to do the saucy ramen noodles with a few twists of using a flavored bone broth to boil the noodles before draining and reserving a bit of broth, cooking also with some vegetables, and then adding in either my leftover smoked chicken and vegetables, or today’s Chinese stir-fry I made.

I will try to remember to take a picture of what I do.

That's a great idea. If you made your meatballs smaller than usual, you would have enough to line the top of the baking dish with 3-4 rows of mini-meatballs which would make it much easier to get portions out of the dish and also to eat once out.

You could just eliminate the ground beef and saute the mini-meatballs with the onions.

I didn't get any photos after plating but here's what the original recipe with ground meat looks like fresh out of the oven.

I made instant ramen noodles and added leftovers from the shrimp stir-fry I made yesterday and it was really good. I actually liked it this way better than with rice yesterday.

And thanks on the PR! It turned out perfectly although Mrs. AB thought it a tad underdone.

Not sure if you have a Costco near you, but I just bough a 1/2 gallon of 40% heavy cream today for $8.

Tonight will be Buffalo chicken wings and tator tots done in the oven. I add a bit of Valentina black label hot sauce to the wings before they go into the oven. Very tasty!!

I am going to try some different Mediterranean meals. Today was a nice salad with chicken.

First marinated small cucumbers, jalapeño, red onion, cherry tomatoes, and chick peas in Italian Vinaigrette.

Then marinated chicken tenders in Italian Vinaigrette and pan fried them.

Added it together with some lettuce mix, croutons and feta cheese.
