I know a very successful restaurant owner who has bought into the Israeli conspiracy nonsense hook line and sinker. He seems like a normal, smart guy until Israel inevitably comes into a conversation, then he just loses his mind. And he believes in a flat earth. No one is pulling the wool over this guys eyes, he’s well versed in all Illuminati secrets.

My brother, as intelligent and conservative of a guy as you'd ever find, has as well. It has gotten to the point of defending islam as a whole and Hamas/Hezbollah in particular for their attacking Israel. I made the mistake of checking out a Tucker YouTube a few weeks back and now his stuff is top of the page recommended every time I go to YT.
His headlines are remarkably inflammatory, actually scary considering too many are clicking on them now. TC's hair would appear to be well and truly on fire. Or so he'd have us believe.

YT put the kibosh on Covid skeptics and 2020 election fraud reporting, disinformation don't you know, but Tucker's stuff is emphasized. It's all about hurting Trump and conservatives.

I watched both videos...

John Doyle argues that Thomas Massie is an open borders guy because he's basically a libertarian and he voted against the Big Beautiful Bill.
Thomas Massie says he's not for open borders but opposed to bankrupting the country by continuing all of the Covid/Biden era social welfare spending and just adding additional military and border security spending to it.

Massie thinks there should be bills with single subject matters voted on individually. He says he supports border security, but not as part of an omnibus massive spending package.

I'm as closed borders as I can be. I'd like a wall, a moat, and an electric fence. I want every last illegal rounded up and driven like cattle back across the border.

I'm also opposed to bankrupting the country by spending $1.50 for every dollar we collect in taxes. I would vote to pass a balanced budget, not through tax increases but by cutting spending, not over 10 years but in the first year. If Milei's Argentina could do it by slashing public spending so can we.

in the interest of full transparency Thomas Massie is the only politician I've ever donated too and the only one I trust. I have on my desk this signed debt clock.
