If the guy really is dead or in a vegetative state from just having a stent put in, wow is all I have to say. Pretty common procedure. ——————————————— The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Psalm 14:1

Just to clarify from a cardiologist’s standpoint as it’s frequently misrepresented in the media: Implanting a coronary stent for a heart attack is an invasive procedure, but is not repeat not cardiac surgery. It’s not done under general anesthesia, the patient is not on a heart-lung machine. The time required is measured in minutes rather than hours—at least in Western cath labs. If the patient is “brain-dead” it’s far more likely that he came to the cath lab in that state. Again in a Western cath lab, a cardiac arrest occurring in the cath lab is highly likely to be resuscitated successfully unless there is a huge amount of cardiac muscle that is not pumping. I wouldn’t be surprised if Nork cardiology expertise and experience is not far behind the West and other Asian countries including China. When I worked in Russian hospitals in the 90’s they had a little experience with modern procedures but not nearly enough volume to give Western-level mortality rates. Yeltsin had a big heart attack during this time, and there was a lot of debate whether to do his bypass surgery at the Central Clinical (Kremlin) hospital or send him to the west. _________________________ “ What all the wise men promised has not happened, and what all the damned fools said would happen has come to pass.”— Lord Melbourne

Those pictures just make her look like a cross between her granddaddy and Mao. Seriously, was her hairline that high before? I say that not to be snide about her looks, but because some of the official photos look like they've been tinkered with beyond the usual touchups.

If the little bastard is truly demised, the real question will be what will the command structure there do? Rejoice? Blame the US? Blame the Chinese for letting Covid-19 cross the border? Will the military carry on doing what they want without revealing his death? A lot of possibilities. Regardless, the Chinese will be exerting a heavy hand to try and keep the Norks under their thumb for a number of reasons. “Remember to get vaccinated or a vaccinated person might get sick from a virus they got vaccinated against because you’re not vaccinated.” - author unknown

It is also possible, that if his doctor had "shakey hands", he could have had a massive hemmorhage during the cardiac cath procedure. This is rare but not unheard of. An acquaintance of mine died during the procedure due to blood loss. Needless to say, this was on my mind, when I underwent the procedure back in August. I'm guessing we have not seen the last of that chubby little smiling face but who knows?

There are a bunch of elderly, hard nosed communist, ruthless warhawk generals in their military hierarchy who have been itching for war for decades. We should hope that whomever ascends will keep them in check as some of those evil bastards would use chem-bio-nuclear weapons in a heartbeat. CMSGT USAF (Retired) Chief of Police (Retired)

https://www.newsweek.com/kim-j...h-korea-aide-1500261 North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is "alive and well," according to an aide to the president of neighboring South Korea. Rumors have swirled regarding Kim's health after he missed the celebration of his late grandfather's 108th birthday. The event commemorates the birthday of Kim Il Sung, the founder of North Korea and is one of the most important dates in the country's calendar. Kim hadn't missed the April 15 event since he assumed power in 2011 following his father Kim Jong Il's death, according to The Associated Press. He was still nowhere to be seen on Saturday as his country commemorated Military Foundation Day. While North Korea's state media has remained silent about Kim's health and whereabouts, some media outlets have reported that he was recovering from surgery. But on Sunday, Chung-in Moon, a foreign policy advisor to South Korea's president Moon Jae-in, told Fox News: "Our government position is firm. Kim Jong Un is alive and well." The aide said Kim has been staying in the Wonsan area since April 13, adding: "No suspicious movements have so far been detected." It comes as 38 North, a website that specializes in news about North Korea, reported that satellite images show a train that likely belongs to Kim has been parked at the Leadership Railway Station servicing his Wonsan compound since at least April 21. Kim hasn't been seen in public since April 11, but South Korean officials have questioned reports about the North Korean leader's health, saying that no unusual activity has been detected in the North, according to Reuters. U.S. intelligence officials have also said they see no sign of unusual military activity that would suggest something was amiss. Daily NK, a Seoul-based website, reported on Monday that Kim was recovering after undergoing a cardiovascular procedure on April 12, citing an unnamed source in North Korea. The outlet reported that Kim needed the procedure due to "excessive smoking, obesity, and overwork" and that he was now being treated in a villa in Hyangsan County.
