I hope they keep peeling the onion, because this city/county is much worse than has been exposed thus far. This is just the tip of the iceberg. But I’m afraid something somewhere else will get the limelight before they get deep enough and this will just be a media blip. And that’s all I can say. Knowing what one is talking about is widely admired but not strictly required here. Somebody local can comment better but, my understanding is the local news has been covering this but, it wasn't until X, IG along with Walsh, Megyn Kelly, and others with a broader video platform got their teeth into the story, then the temperature started to turn-up. Having the train video made available was the crux that got people's attention. | |||

The suspect, 42-year-old Jamel McGriff, was taken into custody Wednesday evening near Times Square, according to the NYPD. Frank Olton, 76, was found on Monday tied to a pole in his basement suffering from multiple stab wounds, and his wife Maureen Olton, 77, was found on the house's first floor, severely burned, NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch said at a news conference on Tuesday. Tisch called the crime a "horrific double homicide, robbery and arson." She said police are asking for the public's help to find McGriff, warning that he should be considered armed and dangerous. McGriff, who is out on parole for first-degree robbery, "has a lengthy violent criminal history stretching back 30 years," Tisch said. He failed to register as a sex offender in November 2024, "which should have violated his parole," she said, and he is also wanted for two robberies in Manhattan this summer. _________________________ | |||

The truth is that the murder and violence numbers in the black community are staggering in many inner cities. I heard a number comparing deaths since 9/11/2001, all US military deaths in the two wars in Afghanistan and Iraq plus any other deaths from combat. Then I asked Grok for the murder numbers in Chicago during the same period. Chicago had 10,484 murders. Over 80% were black victims and perpetrators. Most were between 15 and 34 years old. Those numbers from just the city of Chicago are over double that of all the military deaths during the quarter century since 9/11. Half of the country doesn’t even want to know about this, much less what can we do about it. ___________________________ Avoid buying ChiCom/CCP products whenever possible. | |||

The progressive communists decided to experiment on inner cities blacks Americans in the 60's. Welfare, public housing, no nuclear families. Dependence in exchange for their votes. They can't see that the party that provides for them is really the party that imprisons them in a dystopia. And they are trying to do it to everyone now. Most of the murder is linked to the drug trade, so using the U.S. military to destroy the cartels and cut off the supply should significantly reduce the murder rate. I say we give it a try - hit all of the cartel bosses with cruise missiles and smart bombs at the same time, like the Godfather baptism. There is no real effort to stop the violence. Black Lives Don't Matter if they are taken by other Blacks. Sad but true. | |||

Just gun violence alone. The U.S is 3rd in murders throughout the world. If you remove 1) Chicago 2) Detroit 3) Washington D.C 4) St Louis 5) New Orleans The U.S is then 189th Out Of 193 countries in the world. BTW, all 5 cities have STRICT gun Laws. | |||
