Very serious reply to this statement. It hasn’t been apparent to me that the NFL gives a shit about their conservative viewers for a long time—going back to at least the “take a knee” protests of at least 10 years ago. I know I haven’t given a shit about the NFL for about that long.

Someone needs to pull Gov. Spencer Cox off the airwaves, his grandstanding on CNN, ABC, NBC, etc is getting ridiculous. He was falling all over himself on CNN correcting himself over the pronoun bullshit with the killer's boyfriend, even saying that Kirk has said some inflammatory rhetoric. As Steve Bannon has said, someone from law enforcement needs to be the spokesman for the investigation, not Mitt Romney's buddy. Also the governor's assurance that the boyfriend was not involved is absolute bullshit from an investigative and real world viewpoint.

This video brings up some disturbing stuff, way out of the wheelhouse of the governor. He needs to get out of the way and let men take over.

I just don't care. Kill yourself so that you don't spend 15 to 20 years on death row, isolated from the prison general population, coddled, getting free medical care. Go ahead and do it, son, or don't. Either way, you're going to die in prison.

I'm a half hour drive from where his funeral will be held this coming Sunday. Thinking about going to pay my respects and stand with the rest of us patriots. I just really don't like crowds and I know it's going to be a sea of people.

I haven't posted a lot in this thread, but I'm still really angry about this. It's been an oddly divisive topic in my friend and family circle, even if only at the level of being shocked at who hasn't brought it up, or being surprised at commentary about being upset that the girl knifed on the train was being forgotten in lieu of "someone who only preached hate." I'm tired, and angry.

I have a blacked out American flag I've never flown. I bought it because the concept intrigued me, and for a bit there, there was scuttlebutt that online retailers were going to stop selling them. I may go ahead and unfurl it, either to fly it at home, or even at the funeral, depending on whether that seems appropriate once I get there. I have a neighbor who recently put one up after his Gadsden faded too badly. In the past, when that version of the flag has been discussed here on the forum, some have said they find it an insult to our flag. I don't feel that way.

JD Vance will host the Charlie Kirk show from the White House tomorrow at noon ( I presume EDT).
Vance credits Kirk as someone who helped guide him in his political career, including introducing JD to DJT Jr; and according to this article in the NY Post, helping to guide President Trump to select JD as his VP nominee.
So JD accompanying Charlie’s wife and Charlie’s body back to Arizona was not at all grandstanding.

Link

Here’s another interesting article: Publisher Conrad Black happened to be sitting in the Oval Office when news came to the president of Charlie’s death.
JD Vance entered the Oval Office, and he and the president console each other and spoke only of this sadness of losing a friend and of sympathy for Charlie, Kirk’s wife. He said there was no discussion of any political implications, only their personal sadness.

Im sensing the same thing that Kelly is, kid is on the spectrum and isn't processing the world normally.

All indications point to this killer being one of those "chronically online" types, steeped in teen/young adult interweb lore/slang. So it's not surprising that he'd be familiar with that term, even if there ends up being zero link to furries.

He graduates from HS with a 4.0 gpa
Receives a scholarship from Utah State
Drops out from Utah State despite having a scholarship and instead enrolls at Dixie Tech in his hometown
Is enrolled in the electrical apprenticeship program the last 3yrs

This kid has the smarts academically but instead of pursing higher education, decides to get a certification towards being an electrician; nothing wrong with that other than his academic record shows he could've gone quite a bit further. He lives on his own with a roommate, who turns out is actually his boyfriend, who himself is 'in-transition', and is involved with furries or at least enjoys some childish dressing up, which appears to open the door towards a variety of maladjusted behaviors, too include the above deep corners of online communities.

Am I tracking this right, anybody sensing similar or, related?

We used to just call kids like that "weirdos" because we found the behavior abhorrent, or weird, and outside of normal.

Now, the mainstream media wants to celebrate it and many in the "trans" community want to take it further: to punish those of us who don't celebrate their weird behavior. So now we have the term "transtifa", which is antifa among the trans people. Weirdos.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Charlie Kirk was outstanding and played a huge roll in changing the hearts and minds of young people across the country. These misfits and weirdos saw the impact he was having and couldn't stand it.

Kash Patel confirms that Robinson's DNA has been positively identified at the rooftop crime scene and on the towel that was wrapped around the rifle. They're still working on DNA left on the rifle itself.
