There are countless examples of the latter because it’s very effective. It will keep him the fans who believe the things he says he believes, but it also helps ensure that other people will keep coming back to him to see what other outrageous things he will say, and then can tell other people, “Have you heard what X said now?”

Does it matter why he makes such claims? I think not.

Stupidity, extreme gullibility, greed, lack of integrity, or any combination thereof- any of that disqualifies him from being considered someone worthy of standing in the pulpit.

This judge has his head up his ass.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm watching him bloviate endlessly right now live and it's apparent he's going to rule that Kirk's assassin should go to trial, but, really, this guy has his head up his ass.

Due process is one thing, but this tippy-toe, TAKING FUCKING FOREVER TO MAKE OBVIOUS DECISIONS SHIT is not due process; it's an obscenity and it's a perversion of our justice system. Of course the defense will try anything and everything to keep from moving forward. That's their job, but it's the judge's duty to recognize this expected behavior by the defendant's advocates, and to filter out all the bullshit. Instead, this guy eats it like it's an ice cream sundae.

The judge needs to grow a pair of balls.

I get it- this is his big moment. It's as famous as he's ever going to get. The big spotlight. His fifteen minutes of fame, but mister judge, your honor, sir, this trial is NOT ABOUT YOU!!

GET THE FUCK ON WITH IT

Yeah, it was obvious what he was going to do... and he could have done it a month ago, by written ruling. But he wanted his moment. And he wants to do everything he can to preserve the record.

Tyler Robinson is Going to Trial

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

^^^ Yeah, that was nuts.

"Mr. Kirk spoke hatefully of certain groups of people," California-based defense attorney Richard Novak claimed during his argument against binding over the case for trial. He went on to say that there was a "significant gap" between what Kirk stood for and what Robinson felt about him.

First of all, it isn't true. Second, it didn't help his client in the slightest way. It seemed off the cuff.

"I think what the defense attorney said regarding Charlie Kirk and that he was full of hate, that was so unprofessional," said David Gelman, a New Jersey-based criminal defense attorney who has been following the case. "That was so out of left field that he honestly — he should be embarrassed of what he said."

The prosecution alleged that Robinson wrote in a text message about Kirk: “I had enough of his hatred. Some hate can’t be negotiated out.”

He was attempting to counter the prosecutions use of that line as a possible sentence enhancer.
