When I was in the army my best friend would write letters addressed to Kevbo-a-go-go

Which resulted in merciless teasing

But the nickname kevbo is one of two nicknames I've had that stuck

Went to Northern Ireland many years ago to interview a crook about a U.S. case. The Police Service was very professional towards us. The Mrs. and I have been back several times to the area.

I was Sgt Gold and was looking for something I wouldn't forget on different gun forums. Too late to turn back now.

Most should be able to figure mine out due to my avatar. Spiff = Spaceman Spiff from Calvin and Hobbes. P239 was my favorite handgun at the time.

It's a long convoluted story that started when I was 8 years old and got involved with BBSing.

Since then it has evolved and shortened.

I grew up with a bunch of hunters rifle only, and when I was living in Nevada (where you have to draw for all tags, from turkey on up) I went 5 years without drawing a tag.

Then I learned you always drew for an archery tag, so I grabbed a bow (a shiny silver target model, I did not know the difference) and started shooting/hunting archery.

A friend of mine started calling me Archerman and there you have it.

By the way I got a small buck my first year of archery hunting Wink
