Meanwhile, Bishop Emmanuel is recovering from the attack and says he has forgiven his attacker, calling for his supporters not to retaliate over the attack but to behave “Christlike.”

Did anyone ask him for his opinion on whether people should be allowed to see the footage?

As we highlighted last week, the reaction to the video of the attack was almost as revolting as the incident itself.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Musk reveals amount of money he's donating to Rep. PAC

“Billionaire Elon Musk has said he plans to commit a massive, monthly donation to a new pro-Trump super political-action committee.

Musk had indicated that he planned to start his donations in July to the America PAC, backing former President Donald Trump's presidential run.

The total contribution from the Tesla CEO and head of social media platform X will be a stunning $45 million a month. …”

When the attempt on DJT happened I was watching X.com, SF, and Fox News Channel, and Musk is right on the money, the news was hitting the fastest in that order, X, SF, Fox.

Granted a few things turned out to be false posts like the first picture of the shooter, but X had the guys name and city, state while Fox was still reporting nobody knew who he was.

And we all know, the feds knew who it was.

Anyway, you do have to filter out some of the garbage, and learn who to trust when they put out posts, but it's clearly the leader of the free world news.

They should double the pay package they were fighting over on Musk at Tesla...

Musk is moving headquarters of both Space X and Twitter/X out of CA to Texas, citing Newsom's new law that bars California school districts from notifying parents of a child’s gender identification change was “the final straw.”
Tesla is already in Austin.

Good! Newsom is going to have fewer dollars for his leftist/woke agenda. That’s a truly appalling law.

Elon's not perfect; but what he's done with Twitter (pace Para) is amazing.
Yes, there are lies posted on Twitter; there is hate. There are things I am disgusted by.
But it is as close to an open marketplace of ideas and opinions as exists in the world.
We must not allow our Ruling Class to silence Elon and Twitter.

Any expressions these totalitarians don't like are "hate speech" or "misinformation".

Anyone saying things they don't like is "far right".

A battle is coming. These people have made it necessary.

British Labour MPs Boycott Elon Musk’s X in Protest Against Lack of Censorship

British MPs belonging to the ruling Labour Party are leaving the X platform in protest of freedom of speech.

According to a report from The Guardian, which itself is waging an aggressive campaign against the free speech policy implemented by Elon Musk, have denounced the platform as “a megaphone for foreign adversaries and far-right fringe groups”.

The report stated:

Over the weekend, newly elected MPs took to WhatsApp groups to raise growing concerns about the role X played in the spread of misinformation amid the far-right-led riots in parts of England and Northern Ireland.

Two Labour MPs are known to have told colleagues they were leaving the platform. One of them, Noah Law, has disabled his account. Other MPs who still use X have begun examining alternatives, including Threads, which is owned by Facebook’s parent company, Meta, and the open-source platform Bluesky.

Over the weekend, Jess Phillips, a Home Office minister who has more than 700,000 followers on X, said she wanted to scale back her use of the platform it had become a “bit despotic” and was “a place of misery now”.

A government minister also told the Guardian they had reduced their posts on X over the summer and that Musk’s actions had made them “very reluctant to return”.

The low-scale boycott comes just days after widespread protests took place across the country, with leading politicians blaming Elon Musk for the unrest.

Musk, meanwhile, has responded with a series of criticisms against Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who he has accused of imposing a draconian crackdown on protesters who are concerned about mass immigration.

The billionaire businessman has also accused Starmer of overseeing a “two-tier” policing system in which native Brits are treated far more harshly than Muslims and other minority groups.

Amid the chaos, Labour politicians and their friends in the left-wing media have repeatedly threatened to start censoring social media platforms and have even threatened to prosecute Elon Musk

This deserves a double post.

EU warns Musk against promoting hate speech on X ahead of Trump interview

https://justthenews.com/politi..._campaign=newsletter

The European Union (EU) warned X owner Elon Musk on Monday against promoting or engaging in hateful content on his social media platform ahead of a planned interview with former President Donald Trump.

Trump announced the interview, which will air on X on Monday night, last week. Musk recently endorsed Trump for president, and said the interview will be “unscripted with no limits on subject matter.”

EU Commissioner for Internal Market Thierry Breton reminded Musk that X is subject to the EU's Digital Services Act, which attempts to regulate illegal content and disinformation posted online. The EU already charged the platform millions of euros last month for failing to obey the union's laws.

“As the relevant content is accessible to EU users and being amplified also in our jurisdiction, we cannot exclude potential spillovers in the EU,” Breton said in a statement posted to X. “Let me clarify that any negative effect of illegal content on X in the EU … may be relevant in the context of the ongoing proceedings and of the overall assessment of X’s compliance with EU law."

Musk responded with a profanity-laced meme that told Breton to "Take a big step back and literally, f*** your own face."

The Trump campaign also responded to the EU's warning, claiming it should "mind [its] own business instead of trying to meddle in the U.S. Presidential election."

"Only in Joe Biden and Kamala Harris' America can an un-Democratic foreign organization feel emboldened enough to tell this country what to do," Trump's communications director Steven Cheung said in a statement. "They know that a President Trump victory means America will no longer be ripped off because he will smartly utilize tariffs and renegotiated trade deals that puts America First. Let us be very clear: the European Union is an enemy of free speech and has no authority of any kind to dictate how we campaign."

The interview is expected to take place on X at 8 p.m. Eastern.

Keir Starmer - look at those eyes. We've seen in before with those crazy people in mug shots that get posted here and there.
He has more hate for the British people than the Palestinians destroying Britain.

It might be a hoot if Musk just stopped providing X in the UK until these boycotting morons are removed from office.

Wonder how long it would take for them to resign and change the ridiculous laws.
