Congrats! What an accomplishment. As we are starting to look at what we will still have to pay even if our daughter gets a full scholarship, I can’t imagine the cost for any of the military academies. I went to a Military College, University of North Georgia and it was so affordable in the 90’s. Wish you guys all the best. | |||

Keeping the thread alive. Mostly for my mental well being and anticipating stresses of Plebe summer and year to vent or be proud Step Daughter reports I- Day -2 next Tuesday (prep school kids who are technically active duty go to the yard 2 days early. Pretty much they are the detailers (trainers, “Drill sgts”) guinea pigs a day prior to the wide eye Directs show up on I-DAY for next 6 weeks I’m OK. Read and listened to too many aspects as a parent on how to deal with a Plebes reactions and my emotions I’ll not be there for I-Day (her mother will). I’ll be at Plebe Parents weekend in August This process may lead to my divorce. Hope not.
