Back in 01, the internet was new and I was exploring. I was directed to the S&W forum by someone on a site called Shooters.

I figured if there was a S&W forum, there might be a Sig one also and sure enough there was. In fact, both were owned by the same person.

I started long ago cruising for bullseye forums. Found Lava net and one general gun forum. Can't remember what it was called. But one dude there was named Bohica. Eventually found Para's. There were 2 then. My first Sig was a 228 from about 94. Then a 220. Both gone, but there are others. I tried to shoot the 220 at 50yd offhand. Not good. Groups were in the 8" black at best. Most might make the 9 ring.

I saw a P6 and wondered why it was not a 225. And here I am!

Decided I needed to see what all the hoopla about 9mm was about and bought a used P226...which I still have.

Came here looking for information and it didn't take long for it to feel like home.

I bought my second SIG (M11-A1) and I had a question or problem. Became a member instead of a lurker whenever I needed to ask whatever it was.

I had just bought my first semi auto handgun, a used Sig Pro 2009. I knew virtually nothing about it but I really liked the way it felt in my hand. Turns out I had good instinct about that gun, it's a very nice shooter and I still have it. I needed to learn more about it. I developed a Sig and Sigforum addiction.

Happened into my LGS who was not a Sig dealer and spotted a pristene German P226 in the used case. Snapped it up and figured I better learn more about it. 20 years this coming February.

I had bought my first SIG (SP2022 German triple) on a Memorial Day weekend, searched what the heck a SIG Sauer is, sent off a email to this Para guy and was to my surprise, approved. Sigforum green is also my favorite color, so that helped.

In the later 90's, when I felt the need for my first real self defense handgun, I bought a Sig 220-9mm because a co-worker had one and it looked the part. They were referred to at the time as a Canadian P220 for those that remember.

A bit later I started looking for more info on the internet. And the rest is history.

Then I bought a Glock. Smile

Was looking at a used P232 stainless. This place came up in a google.

It fit my hand like it was made just for me, but I decided it was too heavy, too much $$$ and of course a 380.

I’ve lurked here daily since long ago. I’m sure I found my way here looking for info on Sig pistols. The well moderated and adult level posts has kept me returning every day. I remember the old polar opposite subgun forum that was always a hoot but everything was anonymous, suspect and opinionated. It’s gone now and SigForum is better than ever.

I had just got my 226 and showed it off on another board, not gun related, and Mark123 (Triumph The Comic Dog) sent me here.
So it's all his fault y'all are stuck with me.
