My bet is not guilty. If he is found guilty, there will be an appeal and a lot of LEOs in that city will be putting in for retirement.

No chance my friend. I live 10 minutes from where this happened. There was so much public pressure on the jury to come back with a conviction that there is no way I can imagine they would dare come back with a not-guilty in only 1 day of deliberation.

Man, I was hoping they'd take just a bit longer than that. I'm flying into Philadelphia Thursday morning.

Anyway, I'm going with not guilty, only because it's the correct verdict. I won't say that I'm confident in that prediction though.

No chance in Hell that he's found not guilty on all counts. I have zero trust left in this nation's justice system.

Completely guilty. Like was said NO WAY they are releasing an innocent verdict at 330 in the afternoon.

The verdict came back far too quickly for a “Not Guilty.” He will be convicted of something, and my guess would be 3rd Degree Murder, which would split the difference among the three charges. If it is guilty of manslaughter, the riots will begin immediately.

The Liberal-ASS media will simply portray the riots as block parties, while looting and arson take place in the background.

No, it’s only a riot if acquitted. If guilty, it’s a “celebration”.

Not that what it is called makes any difference, the locals will react the same way for either.

This lie was told to the jury at the prosecution's last closing statement. The defense had no means to even respond to it.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Guess we can cross off hung jury with it being that fast. Poor guy is about to get railroaded.

They aren't hung if there is a verdict. That goes without saying. Hung juries don't reach verdicts.

That it is this fast is harder to interpret. In this case, I fear that means they have convicted him of something, but we'll have to wait.
