Also the Champagne sun grown, and champagne Noir are really good. Lot 23 maduro is also good, and pretty cheap. My humidors are full of perdomos though.

The Silver and Champagne were what you sent me, correct? They were both excellent smokes. The Champagne surprised me a bit, fuller bodied than what I was expecting.

I smoked a La Palina Black Label last night. CI just got these in and I grabbed one. $10 a stick. I was having some draw and burn issues with it but I marched on. I lit it at about 8 p.m. and it lasted until 10:45! It was a smooth smoke that I think will get very creamy with age. I had a lot of smoke billowing out of the tip of the cigar but hardly any when I puffed so the flavors were not in full swing. I was able to get a bit of cocoa and some dough flavor, but that was it. I tried rolling the cigar to get it to open up with out any success. One of the employees was smoking one and he was not having any issues with his and said he was getting a strong cocoa flavor with his. I will revisit this cigar in a bit as they said these were "fresh off the boat" and on the shelf, not even on the website or in inventory yet.

A very nice day yesterday and was thinking of which cigar to smoke all day at work. I dug through the humidor and found an Assylum Schyso way down deep. Perfect for working in the garage on the tractor. By far, not the best out there, but for under $2 a piece it works.

Diesel Wicked are aptly named! Heavy spice on the light but just a hint of sweetness sneaks in after a few minutes. Very well constructed and the burn is even and perhaps the slowest I've personally experienced. So far I haven't been disappointed in a single AJ Fernandez cigar.

Everything AJ Fernandez blends seems to be absolute gold. I can't get enough of his Diesel series, Man O' War Series or the New Worlds.

Smoked an Asylum 13 Orgre... a barber pole cigar with a candela and habano wrapper. It was a very distinct cigar.. I'm not sure how I feel about it, but it was a more of a novelty cigar. 7x70 was almost a joke to smoke. The construction was good, but I think the candela gave the cigar an almost grassy note that was the most predominate flavor. Also smoked a madder Brick House. The construction and burn were the big hit with these. The flavor was good for the work we were doing (burning off a grassy area), but it wasn't really a knock your socks off "wow" cigar. I haven't really had much time to smoke of late..

Have any of you who have one, smoked a Liga A? Now that I've got it, I'm trying to figure out if I should smoke it or just keep it in the humidor for the coolness of having one in the humidor.

Good question... Having never smoked any of that line, I think I'd have to smoke it. Maybe after I'd get one to be "cool".

Fire it up!!! I had mine sitting around for a few months before I lit it up and had some great flavors come through. Cherries are what I remember most about the "A". I have only had one and have no idea if fresh or age is the better option.

I've been on vacation this week. I've had Tatuaje 2008 vertite really good more subtle than the 2009 but still great flavors. Tatuaje Fausto Avion 2013 early release with the Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. Crowned Heads TAA Angels Anvil and crowned Heads Headly Grange. I think I'll finish the week with an Ezra Zion.

Finally getting to try a Man o War. Very peppery. Great flavor but the wrapper had some cracks and it hasn't burned evenly at all.
