Its one thing for these "activist athletes" to protest. The bigger problem is those that own or control the teams dont immediately shitcan them.
Disrespect our country or it flag? You are GONE!

Is she even on the team? She came in 3rd at the trials! I know of no third place swimmer that made the team...

Biden supports disrespecting the flag and national anthem.

Why does Biden never miss an opportunity to be a shit head? Biden’s argument assumes there are perfect nations out there. Show me one nation that hasn’t done something bad during its history. Just one nation that is perfect. Such nations do not exist. There is no excuse for that behavior and he is a moron for encouraging and providing cover for idiots who deserve none. The Olympics is not the time or place for such behavior, it is totally against the spirit of nations coming together to compete. Why can’t he stop being a democrat for one second and be an American first?

This is what weak leadership looks like. The inability to tell fools to quit acting like damn fools and to think about where they are. The Olympics could end it today by banning any and all forms of this tomfoolery on the first offense. But then they would take flak endlessly for suppressing activists or some crap like that. Why can’t democrats and activists just shut the fuck up and quit being miserable insufferable assholes?

So according to Biden if we haven't lived up to the highest ideals then it's cool to turn your back on your country. I'll happily pay for his ticket to some obscure land.

Eh, the first and second place winners stood for the anthem with their hands over their hearts. Maybe it makes sense to support them by watching them participate in the Games.

I was at the hardware store looking for a coupling. The guy asked what I needed, a male or female. I told him I don't see things that way; I need a non-binary gender coupling.

In a perfect world he would do it and not one person would even acknowledge the act. Total media silence, followed by the lunatic's return to utter obscurity.

We believe arming our fellow Americans – both physically and philosophically – helps them fulfill our Founding Fathers' intent with the Second Amendment: To serve as a check on state power.

I believe that fifty years ago (well, let's say forty -- I'm not that old!) an athlete pulling a stunt like that would have been met with outrage from both the public and the media. That "return to obscurity" would have taken place very quickly. Seems that's not so these days -- instead, the media celebrates this disrespect and tantrum. I'm more than a little bit disappointed with that.

Someone on the news yesterday stated it very well, essentially saying "the first- and second-place winners earned this time in the spotlight as recognition for their efforts, but instead third-place is getting all the attention, robbing them of their reward."

Give it six weeks. Everybody will know the name Gwen Berry, but nobody will be able to tell you who DeAnna Price and Brooke Andersen are.

God bless America.
